Anyone can respond to an incoming message when the phone is locked. Worse, you can use Siri to create and send a message to anyone you want. AND you can ask Siri to read all of the unread messages on a locked phone. Nice stuff Apple.

Seems to work the same way on ios9

The Reply with message on/off option is about declining a call with a quick reply by message, no?

I saw on 9to5mac (I think) that the rich message notification also shows ONLY the last message and not the entire conversation… That's too bad because I loved that feature, but nobody told if that comportement is back when authenticated (like, wake the phone, authenticate with Touch ID, stay on lockscreen, 3D Touch on a message)?

Thanks!
If you leave the notification open then you will see all replies. If you close the message once sent then the history will not reappear.

Exactly. Been the same on iOS 9. It's nothing new.

All replies that exist in the whole conversation even from a while ago? I guess that part makes it a bit different from iOS 9 (or 8).

That's clearer that way, thanks! :)

Okay so I didn't read the entire thread, but these are my results on PB2 using iPhone SE:

Using "hey Siri" to send a message works without unlocking the device. I can see why this would be this way, for convenience, plus you go through the series of voice recognition tests to adjust it for your voice upon activation. Still, kinda sketchy.

Swiping for message preview while locked asks me to unlock my device first.

Same goes with asking Siri to read my last incoming message.

Have you figured out a way to have the whole conversation on a secured lockscreen?
