From time to time I get an itch and just got to go out and buy something and nothing will get in my way. Sometimes you regret your purchase and sometimes it is the smartest thing you've done in a while.

Favorite: 2002 Chevy Silverado Z71 - did i need a new car NO, but I got one anyway

Worst: Dell Inspiron | 6000 - by far the worst purchase I have made in a long time.

So, I want to hear what is your worst impulse purchase and your favorite impulse purchase.

Favorite: Merrel shoes
Worst: Too much to list...

My shoes were my favorite of all time is simply because I use to buy sports shoes; basketball, tennis, etc. They were always extremely overpriced and didnt do that much and when stepped in a puddle your feet would be soaking wet. If you were lucky, hopefully it wasnt cold because then your toes would be freezing. Now with my merrel shoes (gortex too!) I can step in ANY puddle and never afraid of getting my little toes wet :D

interesting thread...

  • Best: Lots... iPod Shuffle, plane ticket to London for this weekend, one of my watches, etc.
  • Worst: Again, lots- hahaha... Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speakers, the Jaegermeister shots last night ;) :D , etc.

My favorites:

My refurb Dual 1.8 G5, I dont really need it but I'm really blown away by this machine. My favorite (eMac, close second) computer ever.

My 2003 Honda Accord, got it used also, but I got a good deal on it. Quick car.

My worse:

I regret nothing

Best: Right now it would have to be a $99 6x8 Wacom Graphics tablet.
Worst: All of the black matt boards that I have to use to mount my projects on. I just hate to wast paper products, no matter how much of it is recycled. Of course I don't think about wasting papter when I am making books for Book Arts class:rolleyes:

Best: Mac Mini from these boards, powerbook G4 (had to sell for $$ reasons)
Worst: My last two cars (2004 Golf TDI which traded in for a 2004 Jetta TDI), didn't need them but happy with the mileage. Performa 6400.

Best: My iBook. This was a big impulse. Was sick of PCs and didn't put much thought into switching to Apple -- just did it and I have never been happier.
Worst: ....none...

best: 20 gig 2nd gen iPod

Too soon to tell: Epson r-800 ink jet printer (ordered today)

Worst: Canon G6 digital camera. Very disappointed with the dynamic range. Lots of blown out highlights

Best: Probally me mac mini.
Worst: Ps2. I used it for about 2 months. I guess I'm not much of a gamer.

best/worst: i'm unsure of my new imac on the way, i DEFINITEYLY didn't need it, but i totally blew the bank on it....i hope i'm not disappointed :(

worst: creative 7.1 speaker system and m-audio sonica theatre usb sound card. the speakers still only churned out 5.1 sound

Best: Sony KLV Series HD LCD TV + Sony HDTV receiver
Worst: Sony KLV Series HD LCD TV + Sony HDTV receiver (The GF was at home when I tried to sneak it in)

Best: 5th Gen iPod. I knew the second I saw it that I was gonna get it. i didn't even know what it did.

Worst: $600 Palm Tungsten T3. I think I used it once.
