Yeah, this is an interesting thread. I love reading all the replies, because it TOTALLY makes me feel better about all the stupid things I've purchased and promptly regretted...

Best: my IBook and my Corolla. I LOVE my computer, it's perfect for me and I got such a damn good deal on it. And my car is simply my baby!

Worst: Well, this is just sort of a rut that I fall into time and time again. I always blow mad amounts of money screwing with my hair, only to regret it, and then blow another couple of hundred trying to fix my mistake. Then I swear up and down, left and right, that I'll never screw with my hair again, only to get bored with it a year later and do something stupid again...and the cycle repeats. I really don't know how to stop...it's like an addiction.

 Of course, yes, I had my hair died at Regis the other day, hated it, tried to fix it, and now I look like a walking christmas tree minus the presents. *sigh* Oh well, at least I've learned my lesson for the next year, right?:p

Ah, hair regret. I hate it when that happens. Last time, I cut my hair just above my shoulders when I was having a boy crisis, it was terrible. I regretted it for a looooooong time.

Ha, but aren't you glad you were able to help me leave Amsterdam?
Every day, KT.

But I wish you'd stop telling the stories, and I especially wish you'd stop charging me. Or at least give me a discount. I thought that your clients were already paying you more than enough. And, yeah, I know that's how they do things in Amsterdam, but I'm still having trouble with the whole situation. ;)

Lots of potentials, I'll pick two...

Best: Mosin-Nagant M38 Carbine (I'm a collector). Rareish Tula factory code, excellent condition. Accurate shooter. Got it on sale at a sporting goods store for $80.

Worst: Clothes in general. For every 5 garments I buy I will actually wear 1. I usually buy clothes on impulse rather than shop for them and most of my fashion ideas are pretty stupid I guess.

My Macs are never impulse purchases because it takes me months to save the money for them.

Best - Wacom bluetooth tablet 3 weeks ago.
Worst - 1Gb Crucial memory in preparation for a Mac Mini which I still haven't bought - the first update was a waste of time, and we're still waiting for the second to become official - sort yourself out Apple for gawds sake.

Best - Loaded iMac G4 that I will have a hard time parting with because I love the design. Wish they'd bring back the "lamp" iMac.

Worst - Keyboard for my iMac that I was going to learn to play with GarageBand but haven't yet. Maybe I will someday.

Do you not like the psp?

Its not hat its bad, its just i dont have much use for it, its sitting above my desk doing nothing after some initial use in the first few weeks i had it....Anyway i just found it to be overhyped and since i got my iBook i have absolutly no use for the PSP as i watch my videos on the road with my iBook,

Anyway my next impulse purchase is likely to be a Nintendo DS we'll have to see if thats a good purchase,

Shadow

What's wrong with the Razr? I want one, but now I might be having second thoughts.
Only thing I dislike about my moto phone now is that sometimes it's a pain to charge, I have to keep wiggling the connection to make it work.

Best: Roland TD-12k electronic drum kit for $1000 off retail (demo) at a store blowout sale.

Not being able to play acoustic drums in an apartment for the last 8 years, this is the most wikked electronic drumset at a reasonable (and for $1000 off... more reasonable) price.

Worst: Norton Systemworks 3.0 and Norton Firewall for mac.

I was new to OSX and heard good things about Norton from my brother in law who's shop was running OS9 at the time. I couldn't give this stuff away if I tried.

My useless impulse buy was the Wacom Intuous 6D Art pen. It cost me $175 and really isn't that great to use.

Best (recently): DDR Mario Mix. My wife and I love that game. Plus I burn like 600 cal in about 2 hours.

Worst: One time I bought this Dead Sea Salt facial scrub for my wife for like $50 and it was a complete rip-off.
