Incipio Ipad 3 cases ready for shipping!

im thinking about canceling my order and perhaps buying the targus case locally? i just got the ipad, and i NEED case like now.. :confused:

Same here - - my needs are immediate and if I can't trust Incipio to stand behind its promises it might be time to cancel and go elsewhere. I might feel different if they were more upfront in their communications but right now I'm not getting the warm and fuzzys.
 
Has anyone spoke to incipio today about the Lexington? I just went to best buy but couldn't pull the trigger because I didn't like their cases. Def Stessing.
 
I just called incipio, they say now that the ship date is tueday.

by the way, i take my word back regarding the Targus case, the reviews for that case so far are horrible, the SLEEP and wake up function doesn't work, it has some problem with the magnets. so that case is a no no.

i guess ill just stick with my original Incipio lexington purchase

Thanks for the heads up... Hopefully the Lexington won't have the sleep/wake issue.

i mean if anything, thats the reason for the delay.

they want to make sure it works perfectly before releasing a HALF BACKED product like TARGUS did LOL :p

shame on targus, so many ppl bought their case and it cant put the ipad to sleep and wake it from sleep. :rolleyes:

I mean other than the SWITCHEASY Canvas which is backordered, i cant find any other case to warrant me a reason to cancel my lexington order from Incipio..

so thats another plus for that case. i really like that switcheasy case, too bad its not in stock..

i mean guys im pretty sure incipio is paying close attention to the sleep function and thats why they didnt release the lexington yet.

last thing they want is to sell a case that ton of ppl will return like Targus did lol

Let's review what's on their web site:

"Please note: The Black color option is available for PRE-ORDER. Est Ship Date: Tuesday, Mar. 20*
*shipping dates are estimated and are subject to change without notification "

Yes, the "estimated" date has changed (nice of them to update us on progress), but all the other verbage has been there since day one, emphasizing "subject to change", so get off the "false promises" bit. If anything, point your derision at the original poster of this thread who clearly misstated the case availability in the subject line - not Incipio.

...and hopefully a mere two business day delay in that ESTIMATED ship date won't cause the end of the world.

I agree. We should convict them now and if they later prove to be innocent, exonerate them with a tiny post back in the classifieds section.

My existing iPad 2 Smart Feather fits fine on my 32gb iPad 3, no need to buy a new one if you already have.
 
I'm torn if I should cancel my Lexington and get the smart cover plus a back shell or feather.

well it wont be as good of a protection/elegance.

it will be slimmer than the lexington tough

im sticking to my lexington order, as u can see most case companies that released their cases have problems with the Sleep wake function so im glad i didnt cancel my order and buy the switcheasy case or Targus.

hopefully incipio gets it right ;)

Yeah man im in the same boat as u, from the photos it looks really nice and thats why i ordered, i also asked costumer service on the phone and they emphasize that its beautiful but then again im asking them for an opinion on their own product :D but yea she told me its a really nice and its their top case for the ipad 3.

all thats left is to recieve it and put it on my ipad 3!

i wouldnt cancel the order if i were u. it might just be the best case out there once it comes out! (with a PROPER working wake and sleep function unlike all these other cases that are out now)

So I'm reading that the sleep/wake function on these other cases are messed up.

Say the Lexington is messed up too, how are they going to fix it and ship it out in less than a week after the release of the iPad 3?

I ordered one of these suckers too and I really hope it works.

I wanted to get the feather but I would have had to get a black smart cover so that's almost $100 on protection vs the $33 I spent on the Lexington.

I mean if they found out that the case doesnt do the wake up and put to sleep function like all these other cases, i say it will take 2-3 weeks for us to get our cases atleast, no way will they fix the issue and ship us a FIXED version of the Lexington this tuesday.

lets think positive though. :)
 
I just uploaded some pictures of the belkin snapshield (Ipad 2) & Black leather smart cover combo I purchased today for my new iPad in the Icipio smart feather thread if you want to take a look. May cancel my Lexigton order as I like the combo & keeps in on the thin side :D
