Can anyone comment on whether the Apple Smart Cover "locks" into place when it's opened and on the backside of the iPad with the Incipio Smart Feather case?
I just spoke with Incipio and was told that the lexington cases are still scheduled to ship tomorrow.

Belkin Cinema Folio with Stand
I've been trawling these forums for the last few days so thanks to all who posted the info about the various cases, really useful.
Being a resident of the UK, we don't have easy access to some of the cool cases from the US unless we accept high delivery charges or 10-15 days delivery, but the Belkin Cinema Folio with Stand posted by 'lamonsas' piqued my interest.
As Belkin are pretty common in the UK I thought I'd follow-up on this - you can purchase the case from Expansys for £35, but it'll be 10 days minimum. I think it's a special order so once you have it ordered, that's it, you can't cancel.
I called Belkin, in the UK you can't buy direct, only through distributors and they said demand was pretty high and they need to distribute carefully. Currys / PCWorld have placed an order for 2000 units but it's not appearing on their web site, strangely, it's down for delivery to stores but you can't get it online yet. You can though go into store and order it, so when these 2000 units are distributed, you'll get one.
Of all the cases, the Maroo, Lexington and countless others, this Belkin one looks probably the best in terms of the material, magnets that work, protection etc. It's just getting your hands on one that might be difficult..!

I just complained that I can't take my iPad out and that I would have went another route if I knew their case would be delayed. Who knows he might just say they are upgrading..lol
He said they had some issues with producing the Lexington in particular. I wonder if they realized Friday the iPad didnt fit right?
i was also assuming that it could have very well been a fitment issue.
but if it was, im glad they figured it out before shipping these
Thanks JP. I called and got upgraded to USPS priority as well. I nicely asked them when was it shipping, then asked how long would it take. They volunteered to upgrade me since it didn't ship last Friday as promised.
I'm sure they'll do the same for others, just be nice.
If it didn't fit on Friday, short of having Santa's Elves to work some magic over the weekend, it wouldn't fit today either. They would have had to order an entirely new production run of cases from the factory if there were fit issues.
Also got upgraded without asking for it, just asked for an update on the shipment. Good customer service, hopefully the Lexington is a good case.
Just called and these cases are still scheduled to ship tomorrow. They also upgraded me and are gonna expedite the package and ship it priority.
He also said I'll get an email with tracking when ships.

I put my Smart Feather for my iPad 2 on my new iPad and it fits minus the camera not matching up exactly and it doesn't stay shut (but at least it provides some level of protection)
To be honest however, I'm not hard on my equipment and the Smart feather didn't hold up great when it was on my iPad 2. One corner cracked and another corner popped off.
That said, I have a hard time justifying $30 for another one. It is, at best, a $10-15 part.
If it included some sort of similar smart cover I'd be all over it but this time around it's not worth it.

I am about to bite the bullet on a lexington, hopefully the fact that the feather is fitting well is a good sign...
They do seem a bit jumpy though, if you ask them in the live support...

Just checked their site and noticed the Black color Lexington are back open. Debating if I should order. Wonder if I order now will it ship tomorrow.
Hopefully we both can get lucky! I'm surprised it went back up since just this morning I was live chatting with a rep and they said it's on backorder for at least a week. Perhaps people couldn't wait any longer and cancelled their orders?

So, this means that some of these Belkin Cinema folios work and some dont.
This Belkin is going back to radioshack tommorow, beautiful overall folio case but i mean that function not working is a deal breaker, and this is the last one they had in stock.
I didn't cancel my Lexington order yesterday (gut feeling ), so im still going to get the Incipio, i hope it ships out tommorow! I'll be pissed if it doesn't.

I think there are versions of this case stating it has auto-wake magnets and some that do not, seen the UK site has them and the US site not, if yours said they were present in the case then yes, must be an issue.
Yes the belkin i got clearly says that it has the Autowake function and that doesnt work so too bad.
Btw, i also called incipio and got the priority shipping upgrade
