Incipio Ipad 3 cases ready for shipping!

What's the advantage?

I had Ghost Armor on the back on my iPad 2 and a smart cover on the front (no screen protector, no scratches on the screen in over a year) - I carried it around at all times in a Sena Executive Sleeve - it's in perfect condition.

What is the advantage of the incipio smart feather v. ghost armor? Ghost Armor seemed so thin and unobtrusive that I'm not sure why anyone would get an actual case which has to be thicker than ghost armor. Plus, unlike Ghost Armor, couldn't the incipio case put a scratch in the back if its not snapped on perfectly? I'm intrigued by the incipio smart feather, but I'm not sure what the advantages are over something like ghost armor, zagg, bodyguardz, etc.
 
Is anybody mixing and matching their Smart Feather colors? I have a red leather Apple Smart Cover, but I'm considering buying the black Incipio Smart Feather.

Anybody try that? And how's it look?

Two words: Corner. Protection.
 
So, according to USPS Priority Mail Description , the item should arrive to us in no more than 2 days. (In other words Thursday, to most of us atleast)

If ur in CA then you might even get it tomorrow. Im in NY so probably on Thursday.

I ordered via priority twice from Incipio in the past (iPhone NGP Case) and it arrived in 2 days as well so this should be no different, They shipped it today, today and tomorrow it will be in Transit and by thursday it should be in NY.

I know its just a case but im excited to get it already cant wait :D;)

Well for one, it's more expensive. Another thing I don't like is that in standing mode, it sits on the cover. I prefer to have it fold back/behind the iPad.

The only one that I have been considering other than the Lexington are the Uniea cases (here). They seem to have everything I'm looking for but I have a couple more days until I receive my Lexington case and I'll see how I like it then. Doesn't look clunky at all to me, but the pictures are pretty terrible on the site so I'll just have to see it for myself.

I hear ya. I'm the opposite... I like the cover being on the bottom when it's in 'stand' mode. More for function than form though.

I use the iPad on the couch more than anywhere else. I have a reclining couch. The types of stands that are in the back seem much more unstable on my lap when I'm on the couch than the type that have the base under/in front of the iPad like the Canvas. That has been my experience anyway.
 
Ordered the smart feather in red yesterday. Got an email that it just became available. Will post pics once its in
 
Just snapped in my black smart feather. This is exactly what I was looking for - it holds the smart cover in place and is almost painfully thin adding very little weight to the iPad. At least now when I am using it, the smart case won't accidentally snap away letting the iPad hit me in the nose - again.

I really like how absolutely low profile and light the item is - fits great too.

Haha, if you had to guess, do you think that (iPad + Smart Cover + Smart Feather) fit in, for example, an Incase Maki sleeve?

Wish I could help, but have absolutely no idea. I toss mine into my work briefcase and have never used a sleeve. The smart feather is all the additional protection that I could possibly want/need.
 
I have my Inicipio Lexington on my new iPad right now. The sleep/wake function does NOT work. Not happy.
 
Received Incipio Lexington

Just wanted to say that I also received my black Incipio Lexington for my new iPad 32GB/LTE and the sleep/wake function is not working. Looks like I will be returning this case and using my cheap bearmotion case until something better comes out.
 
The sleep/wake function not working after a delayed shipping date is a big slap in the face
