Just an FYI they never once said you'd have it the same day as your new iPad. It said ESTIMATED ship date was 3/16. Stop being a whiny bitch and let's see how they respond.

They will send replacements with auto-sleep working (talked to CS). A bit of a shame, but it seems loads of manufacturers had the same problem...
If the magnent are not inside this first batch, that's not necessarily a bad thing. At least you wouldn't have to worry of them damaging the iPad in any other way..

Actually, their website stated "available March 16th". Doesn't matter to me how they respond. I've already purchased another case due to the ineptness of their company by trying to rush a product and be the first to have a case on the market.
It said Est ship date March 16. Then it was updated to the 20th. Nowhere did it say will be delivered to overlyunderme on 3/16
Why is the sleep/wake feature such a big deal to you guys. I turned mine off because half the time the covers on any iPad case i used would get jostled open while in my bag. Are we so lazy now that we can't bother to ht the button on top of the device. I'm not excusing Incipio, but you guys really seem upset about a novelty feature.
Agreed. It was a mistake by Almost every case manufacturer that released new iPad cases so that whiny bitches like the one above could have a case ASAP. They will fix it, it's not like it's a huge deal.
I ordered a Lexington and purchased a Targus Vuscape on launch day. The Targus case works fine, but I'm like you guys, honestly the magnet thing is not that big of a deal. The reason I buy a case is to protect the device, not "wow" me with gimmicks.

No one is being whiny. Company promised a feature that didn't show up in any form in the delivered final product. And it's not like it's a feature that's difficult to test. My gut is telling me they shipped it fully aware of the issue and hoping people would be ok with it as a temporary solution while they fix it.
I'm still going to accept my order once I get it but will be waiting for the replacement as they've promised to send to me as soon as ready.

Well I just got mine. It's a decent case, it feels really nice to the touch. It smells funny but I'm sure that would go away with time.
Of course the magnets don't work. Then again how could they? There aren't any magnet in this case! They advertised the feature in their website and out it on the packaging and there's no way it could possibly work. I got out a magnet from the fridge to check and no magnets at all.
And for those who think its no big deal and not an important feature, well to each his own. It's something I was really looking forward to when I upgraded from my OG iPad. It's one of the reasons I chose this case. I dunno, I like the idea of being able to open my case and have my iPad on and ready to go and not worry about the slide to unlock. I paid enough for my iPad, call me whiny if you want but if I pay for a feature I expect it to be there. I will be calling Incipio about this.

does anyone have a lexington where the sleep/wake function does work? I just want to make sure this is a case-wide issue and not a 50/50 thing where some of the cases work and some don't.
Just received mine and it doesn't work as well. I don't think any of this first batch work!

well from the video review, this looks like a case that i wont be purchasing ...
on/off lock doesnt work .. but can probably get that replaced and i can see that buckle bothering me ... will be sticking with my targus skinny for now ... still waiting on a review for the smartsuiet3 case

It wouldn't have worked for the week or so it will take to get the correct case in? The magnets bother you that much?

Ok, so I hate the case...not to mention the magnets aren't working.
I got them to send me out the Feather (in black) with a pre-paid return slip.
Once they get the return they'll credit my account the $4 difference.
I'll end up getting the black leather Smart Case from Apple.
The reason I hate the case is because it seems impossible to shoot a video or take a picture with the cover/flap on it?
At least with the Smart Case I can take it off then pop it back on.
