Lexington delivered.

Whoa! I just put mine on and this thing looks great!
Sorry I can't post pics right now - I'm at work. It's so easy to put on - snaps right on. Love this thing.

One thing though: The sleep/wake isn't working. Is this something I have to enable in settings? I can feel the magnets.

Anyone call Incipio and let them know about the sleep wake problem? Hopefully they go the maroo route.

For those of you that received your lexington, where are you located and did you receive your shipping notice on Monday?

I'm still getting the "Electronically Notified..." message from USPS tracking. I received my notice on Monday and I'm located in NC.

Review Please?

Can someone who has the Lexington please do a little video for all of us who were too shy to pre-order? I'm wondering how thick it is with the iPad inside, how the viewing positions are, and how it is to hold the cover open with one hand (i.e. if you were trying to read something while standing). Can the little flap be tucked in to hold the cover open?

Thanks! :)

Oh my gosh, the magnets aren't working?!?! I got one of the Targus cases with the same issue so I thought I'd try this. I figure mine should be here tomorrow. This is getting frustrating!

Sorry if someone said, but has anyone called Incipio to see what they say?

I did a quick look here:

The flap can not be tucked back in if the cover is open, that's for it's stand position.

Called

I called Incipio after seeing my sleep/wake function was not working. They had no idea about the issue and scheduled for me to return my item. I am mailing it back this afternoon. I dont think I liked the case overall. The outside seems very nice, but it doesnt seem like they changed anything for the new iPad it fits the exact same way it fit when I tried an iPad 2 incipio lexington case on my new iPad. Seems like if it dropped it might pop out.

Did anybody get the new iPad NGP case? if you did and can post some pics and a review once you receive would be nice. :)

yeah right!

I can attest to the magnets not working to invoke the sleep function. Damn...

does the ipad fit properly at least?

You tried an ipad 2 lexington? This is a new design afaik..... not sure how you did that.

You were right I checked my friends case it was the targus 360, but the fit was the exact same as the incipio Lexington I received. They both felt a little too snug, like it might pop out if jostled or dropped. I did not want to test dropping it, I just returned the incipio Lexington.

by looking at this pictures:

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1346209/

it seems the material of this case are totally different as to what they seem to be in their website. Maybe it's only me but I ws expecting a more rubbery type material? it seems to be like a sort of fake leather?can anyone that has one clarify?

Are you kidding me?
The magnets DON'T work?!

I'm so pissed right now...what a joke.

I called before ordering and they said it was a grippy texture, similar to the plastic of some phones.

It does look leathery from the photos. If it's not grippy it's going back.

"grippy"? that's a new word for me, liking it :)

you mean like hard rubbery iphone case? this is what I was expecting.

Not sure the technical term. Some phones are plastic, but they have a soft rubbery texture to them. That's how the Incipio support person described the back would feel.

I would just like to point out that there are not even magnets in the case AT ALL.

Blatant false advertising. There is no way they couldn't have known about this issue because they didn't even bother to put magnets in there, let alone correctly oriented magnets.

Can't they get sued for something like that?
After looking at the description it is BLATANTLY false.

Magnets don't work

Yup I can also confirm the magnets don't work.
It's also hard to stand it up for typing.
It's going back unless they can explain the magnet issue somehow.

Edit - I don't feel magnets in it either.

Here is a video I created which shows off the case and shows that sleep/wake feature doesn't work

http://youtu.be/F9By6OfEwcc

I was impressed with the look and feel of it. A shame I am going to return it

So other than the magnets not working you liked it?
I "heard" if you call Incipio they are going to send free ones (working ones) in a couple weeks to unhappy buyers. So maybe you should give them a call before you return it?

What a complete and utter fail on Incipio's part. TheLexington is the firsthand will be the last case I ever buy from them. First the "you'll have it the same day as your new iPad" to "shipping March 20th" ordeal and now the magnets are non-existent! I'm not even opening mine up, just gonna send it straight back and get my money back. I hbought a Targus VuScape and it has been great. Never again, Incipio. Never again.

That case looks pretty cheap . How much did that cost?

I don't like how flappy the cover is

It's listed as $39 but I used a coupon code and it came out to $33

So other than the magnets not working you liked it?

yes I liked the case other than the magnets not working

I sent them an email. We will see how that goes
