Ditto, and I also bought the black one with go with a black Smart Cover. It's a classy combo! I also love the feel of the feather.
I just received my new iridescent gray cover. I paired it with a navy blue smart cover. The package had a sticker on it and said for the new iPad or iPad 2, so I guess that this new cover will fit both.
The fit is very good, it isn't loose or too tight, I was a little concerned pre-ordering that they might not have it exactly right. I don't think they had an actual iPad 3 tp try it out on.

Thanks for posting the pics, just a couple of clarifications on the Belkin cover:
The metal stripe visible on the left side is a magnetic one? Does it lock the smart cover when open and folded back?
Does the snapshield have the same hinge-locking mechanism as the Incipio Smart Feather in order to prevent the smart cover to easily detach from the iPad?
I have pre-ordered the Incipio Smart Feather but the Belkin seems to be really close to the former and much cheaper....I could cancel my order and go for the Belkin

Nope, snapshield doesn't have the hinge-locking mechanism as the Incipio, but doesn't bother me.
Also, IMO the snapshield protects the top/bottom a little more than the smart feather. It covers more, but both are good. Can't go wrong with either.

The locking hinge was what steered me to the feather. But it also steers people away from it. Choices are good.
I got my smart feather in the mail today. Fits great...love it. The screen protector it came with is $&*# not to mention it came with 2 large creases in it

Hmmm...mine isn't nearly that off center. It's shifted a tiny bit to the upper left. But overall I'm pretty happy with this for a slim case.
I'm pretty sure also, but asking if anyone can confirm having tried it and the results. I'm looking for actual experience vs what we think will/won't work.

I have a skinit skin on mine with the SF case...no issues. In fact, it works out great because it protects most of the areas the case does not.
I would like to see pics of the iridescent gray. I'm planning on getting the translucent mercury but they're taking forever to make them available. Thanks.
I got my 3rd gen smart feather today much earlier then I expected since I got the 5-7 day free shipping but it got here in 1 day.
Here you go. It's a little darker than what I would have liked, but I had already bought a navy smart cover and didn't think the black would look as good with it.
