Universal Infuse 8 for iOS Released

Currently, you can use Spotlight on iOS to search for indexed results in Infuse, though additional search options are planned for an upcoming version.
The latest version of Infuse for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV is here and contains a number of things that we think you're really going to enjoy!
All-new list view
We've added a slick new list view option that provides quick access to video artwork and details. It has all the same great details as the standard poster view, and should allow you to feel right at home when you start using it. List View can be enabled in Infuse > Settings.
More storage with iXpand
Running low on storage space? Worry no more. Infuse now works seamlessly with SanDisk iXpand flash drives. Just load up one of these nifty USB/Lightning drives with up to 128GB of your favorite videos, and connect it to your iPhone/iPad to enjoy hours and hours of content on the go.

Yes, Infuse is able to browse and play content from the Connect Wireless Stick. https://www.sandisk.com/home/mobile-device-storage/connect-wireless-stick
Streaming from the Connect Wireless Media Drive is also possible, though browsing can only be done through the official SanDisk app. https://www.sandisk.com/home/mobile-device-storage/connect-wireless-media-drive
x265 isn't officially supported at this time, but it something we're hoping to add in a future update.
Yes, exFAT works great with iXpand and Infuse.
Can't come soon enoughNo, but we've been working on something pretty special.
Also, one thing that apps like Infuse seem to miss is the tracker of upload progress so that one can see from iPad whether wifi transfer has completed. This way, I can start the transfer and walk away from my computer with my device and know when the transfer is completed instead of guesstimating and potentially cutting it off. There is at least one app out there that offers this functionality, so it's not impossible.

One option in the current version is to browse your Mac/PC using Infuse and pull the files to your device. Doing this will allow the download progress to be shown.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I do not see myself using that option. Either good old iTunes transfer or WiFi and lack of SuperSpeed USB support on iPad means that WiFi it is pretty much all the time. It is much easier for me to "push" files to the device than having to "pull" them.Thanks for the suggestion.

Superb! The moment split screen and hopefully PIP arrives, bye bye AVPlayerHD on my iPad. Still use Infuse on my iPhone of course, will be nice to use them both in tandem again
Fingers crossed for PiP, HEVC and the ability to edit file names for the metadata fetch to work.

Cloud streaming
Access your videos from anywhere by storing them in the cloud. Now you can browse, stream, and download files stored in popular cloud file services including Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive.
Advanced iCloud syncing
Setting up and keeping multiple devices in sync is a pain...a huge pain. Worry no more! Infuse will now use iCloud to keep all your shares, favorites, metadata, playback settings, and Up Next items in sync on all your devices.
