Please add a search feature to Infuse Pro like nPlayer has. Thanks!
Currently, you can use Spotlight on iOS to search for indexed results in Infuse, though additional search options are planned for an upcoming version. ;)

The latest version of Infuse for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV is here and contains a number of things that we think you're really going to enjoy!

All-new list view
We've added a slick new list view option that provides quick access to video artwork and details. It has all the same great details as the standard poster view, and should allow you to feel right at home when you start using it. List View can be enabled in Infuse > Settings.

More storage with iXpand

Running low on storage space? Worry no more. Infuse now works seamlessly with SanDisk iXpand flash drives. Just load up one of these nifty USB/Lightning drives with up to 128GB of your favorite videos, and connect it to your iPhone/iPad to enjoy hours and hours of content on the go.

Thank you for replying! There's one more thing: I find that Infuse plays x265 videos perfectly sometimes and others it repeatedly drops frames. This appears to be the case on all 64bit devices(I don't have any 32bit). What causes this?

Hello, I have a question: I am planning to buy a 128gb Ixpand.I make my own blu-ray rips, but they are usually larger than 4gb. Therefore, I will have to use The Exfat file system. Will Infuse be able to read from the Ixpand on a 12"9 Ipad pro ? Thanks

x265 isn't officially supported at this time, but it something we're hoping to add in a future update. :)

Yes, exFAT works great with iXpand and Infuse. :)

Also, one thing that apps like Infuse seem to miss is the tracker of upload progress so that one can see from iPad whether wifi transfer has completed. This way, I can start the transfer and walk away from my computer with my device and know when the transfer is completed instead of guesstimating and potentially cutting it off. There is at least one app out there that offers this functionality, so it's not impossible.

Thanks for the suggestion.

One option in the current version is to browse your Mac/PC using Infuse and pull the files to your device. Doing this will allow the download progress to be shown. :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I do not see myself using that option. Either good old iTunes transfer or WiFi and lack of SuperSpeed USB support on iPad means that WiFi it is pretty much all the time. It is much easier for me to "push" files to the device than having to "pull" them.

I would also like to suggest that you add Fire TV streaming to the "to do" list. It's great that Infuse supports ATV and Chromecast, but Fire TV is a growing market given Amazon's heavy investment in original content.

Infuse 5 is here! It's been many months in the making, and is the most ambitious update we've ever had. It has tons of new features, some really great playback improvements, and a whole host of thoughtful little changes to make your life better.

New home screen with 'Up Next' list
New for Apple TV is an awesome way to find something great to watch. The new Up Next list is made up of two sections - the first will show the items you're currently watching (in progress) and the second will show items that have been recently added.

Split View & Picture-in-Picture
Native iPad multi-tasking has finally arrived, and it's awesome! Now you can catch up on the latest season of The Walking Dead while composing an email, or browse the web while downloading videos from your Mac. Productivity doubled!

Cloud streaming
Access your videos from anywhere by storing them in the cloud. Now you can browse, stream, and download files stored in popular cloud file services including Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive.

Advanced iCloud syncing
Setting up and keeping multiple devices in sync is a pain...a huge pain. Worry no more! Infuse will now use iCloud to keep all your shares, favorites, metadata, playback settings, and Up Next items in sync on all your devices.

And so much more...
Revamped video playback, automatic subtitle downloads, iOS Document Picker, and new translations are just a few of the other things included in this release. A complete list of what's new in Infuse 5 can found here.
