Okay thanks. I'm 'redownloading' iOS 10 GM again. I installed it and iOS prompted the second iOS update. The GM on the developer site is for 10.0.1. What you're getting through the OTA update isn't beta.
No, the GM is version 10.0.1 build 14A403.The GM is the same build as beta 8. 14A5403 is 10.0.1 beta 1.
Ah, it all makes sense now. Thank you.No, the GM is version 10.0.1 build 14A403.
GM for 10.0 is 10.0.1?No, the GM is version 10.0.1 build 14A403.
Appears to be. Which would make sense if they found something critical.GM for 10.0 is 10.0.1?
Unless there's a 10.0 GM and a 10.0.1 beta 1 builds that have been released separately (but at the same time)?Appears to be. Which would make sense if they found something critical.
Unless there's a 10.0 GM and a 10.0.1 beta 1 builds that have been released separately (but at the same time)?
The exact text on the Developer site is "iOS 10.0.1 GM seed". There is no other iOS GM seed available.Unless there's a 10.0 GM and a 10.0.1 beta 1 builds that have been released separately (but at the same time)?
I too am getting the second iOS 10 update, after downloading and installing 10.0.1 (build 14A403). I'll see what the build number of the second update is once it's done...
That was a recurring issue in various previous betas, IIRC.App updates going crazy for me. I will update an app and it will download and install. Then a few seconds later the update will re appear in the app store and I seem to be able to repeat that process indefinitely.
