They've done something with the battery.

Yesterday use TomTom Go whilst plugged in and the battery would drain ever so slowly unless I put it in low power mode.

Today battery is actually charging whilst using TomTom Go so they've improved something there.

The battery drain was only on the last few betas, early betas and iOS 9 the battery charged whilst TomTom was running so something broken then fixed again me thinks.

Is anyone else stuck on update requested 'Estimating time remaining' it's been like this since the release last night. iPad Pro 12.9, my 6S+ updated straight away with no issues?

The app switcher still seems a bit sluggish on my 6s (this showed up in Beta 8) - so strange considering everything is silky smooth.
Is anyone else noticing that?

iOS10 GM is like public beta without the word "beta". And the actual iOS10 final is the release that they're going to release before iOS11.
Leaving in/not fixing bugs discovered and reported in betas before the GM release is unacceptable.

PS. App suggestions also not fixed. Plugging in headphones doesn't suggest to open Music app. After going into Settings->General->Spotlight Search->disable and enable Siri Suggestions then app suggestion works for a bit and then stop working again.

Anyone else's Face detection in photos re-scanning? Kind of wish this feature could be disabled to be honest...

The notification "bug" or design failure is still there. Its not possible to enter a newline if you want to answer a notification. Absolutely hate it.
Also that the notifications arent fixed on top if you want to answer.

Probably because it's an UITextField and not UITextView. Developers will have to fix it themselves with app updates.

Bugs still present that I've noticed :
  • Notification Center bug when tapping on a notification does nothing
  • On iPhone Plus with springboard landscape, open CC, lock orientation and "move" CC a little makes the landscape CC on portrait, weirdly sized and all
  • On Safari, showing unread in Reading list shows blank lines. Apple marked my bug as a duplicate but still not fixed.
  • On Calendar widget, when in list view, sometimes items label are blank. I see my events (cells are here) but no text at all.
  • The invisible button in Music is still there (Now Playing with downloaded song)

So… Apple what did you change? :(

I was hoping someone could answer a question for me.. Does the beta have a "dark mode"? I've seen pictures of it and it looks beautiful, however, I feel like its too good to be true.

EDIT: Just read the post above mine... Oops. Dammit. I knew it was too good to be true.

I don't care about dark mode that much, but I have to admit that it would have been sexy as hell with the new black iPhone(s).
My hunch is that it's more likely than not that we'll eventually see a dark mode. Maybe not in an iteration of iOS 10, but eventually. I agree that would be perfect with the jet black phone.

If you watch this video at 0.25, you will notice that the animation starts later on iOS 10 but finishes at the same time. So I think it's intentional

Thanks for the video but i am talking drastically poor frame rate and supper choppy. The phone was practically unusable. I had loads of lock ups as well. I had run the beta as a clean install on a 6+ and it was like amazing on my 6 it was so bad i reverted.

Edit:
I want to say i did watch the video and what I experienced was so many dropped frames it was almost hanging on animation.

Raise to wake, under display & brightness is not there. It has NEVER been there on any PB I've run, nor on the GM (running iPhone 6)
NM, guess not supported on the 6

When i open Mail in landscape mode the screen just stays white. I have to swipe to close and then when i open it for a second time it works

Anything youre doing/swiping fast in your device stutters now..

Notification Center Cards, App Switcher and so on.

Clearly no 60FPS. Im running an iPhone 6s.

Ofc. They make it stutter free only on iPhone 7 so that you had a reason to upgrade :p

I don't think anyone posted the Release Notes. Do we know if Voicemail transcription made it to any additional devices besides 6s,6s+, SE (and presumably 7/7+)?

Yeah, I noticed that too. I even noticed one app in particular, snapchat. It was smooth in early betas and now it lags a little bit.

No stuttering on my 6+.
[doublepost=1473320896][/doublepost]Running really smooth on my 6+.
App Switcher stutters a lot on iPad pro 9.7........guess it'll be fixed in 10.3 next year. It was garbage on my Air 2 till 9.2 or 9.3 earlier this year. One would think......if somethings working well to keep it that way.
