I'm trying to find the same "Substrate Fix (iOS 10)" that was found on : http://83.218.67.215/~ijapija00/cydia/ (which no longer exists). Does anyone else know of a repo that hosts that fix??

Its for an iPad Pro running 10.1.1

Sideload Yalu b7 instead of mach_portal, doesn't need a substrate fix either cause it's a "full" JB

Should work with 10.1.1 iPad Pro

Mach_portal is for 7/7+ on 10.1.1
[doublepost=1492797465][/doublepost]
It replaces the old Substrate Fix and works much better.

Yes but any 64-bit iOS 10 device that is not 7/7+ has a full JB out I believe from 10.0-10.2 that doesn't need substrate fix

If you do have a 7/7+ Then you are referring to, my post a few posts above with repo, is an EXCELLENT solution. Makes it anone click JB instead of 2 with strategic timing in between. makes things like anemone and typestatus run without issue (without it and before when using ijap had to use a terminal command every boot up and respringing, and always rocketbootstrap errors on anemone. No more!) Screw ijap

Thanks. Works great.

I can definitely understand the confusion haha.

The fragmentation of releases between 10.1.1 7/7+ vs 10-10.2 for non-7/7+ that is approached differently and supports one iOS version newer, didn't make this go round as cut and dry as previous releases

I really wonder next time we'll see a JB

Not holding my breath tho :D

My Facebook app constantly crashes after doing the Yalu jailbreak recently. It didn't do it for the first two weeks or so after doing the JB. Everything else works just fine. If I reboot and don't load Yalu, Facebook works just fine. Any ideas?

Uninstall ijap substrate fix and add

https://r3st1t0u.github.io/

Repo

And install 'substrate fix for yalub3,' and 'order 65'tweaks (and optionally executioner for an icon of substrate fix app to manually do it)

Works way better! Type status works without "killall imagent" command every respring and anemone doesn't kickback rocketstrap errors

ALSO!!!

After mach_portal runs, in 5-10 seconds it'll respring in substrate mode automatically

You're welcome :)

How does this work? Do you install sub fix and order 65 and it automatically fixes substrae after running mach portal? Or do I still have to run something? And what is execute for? Thanks

Executor is if you want an icon to manually launch substrate.

Otherwise your description is correct. Substrate mode kicks in like 5-10 seconds after white screen "crashes" to homescreeen showing mach_portal worked.

Uninstall ijap substrate fix too before installing those other two tweaks

Crap I didn't uninstall ijap fix. So this works after a re-jailbreak we apply every 7 days? Truly just one button to press?

Oh is there still a need to reinstall cydia substrate?

Not sure but I think so. I use a 1 year IPA. It should tho
No it's ok just uninstall ijap now don't need it anymore.

And no need to reinstall Cydia substrate itself

Crap the instructions you gave seemed to have totally screwed up my JB. I keep rebooting after running mach-portal. Before it would usually work by the 2nd or 3rd time maximum, but now I've tried it almost 20 times and still rebooting! Is there any way to uninstall those apps you suggested if I can't get back to JB? Or am I screwed? Sigh, may have to go back to 10.3 and wait for Pangu's JB.

Just a warning for everyone else, it may be better to stay with the original method of re-jailbreaking every week.

Yikes my apologies for that!

I haven't experienced any issues,
https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/652l57/release_order_65_for_yalub3_beta_automatically/

Here is the thread though, it appears the dev created a fail-safe, and can be fixed with iFunbox

Definitely proceed with caution, other people!

Should've provided that link so it's straight from the dev's mouth

I'm really really sorry, and keep me posted! If it works its a thing of a beauty, and I even updated and rebooted and re-tried with update and it works even better (doesnt have time delay between mach_portal crashing to home screen and spinning wheel)

I have 3 iOS jailbroken devices, but only one of the 7/7+ variant (its a 7+) so I guess I was a little too confident from my own experience,

No worries, we all know the risk going in!! I got it to work, but man it took 30 something tries with mach-portal. I guess the combo of mach-portal and substrate fix, which both cause reboots often, is a bit more sensitive. Thank you for the fail-safe, I'll make a note of it if things get screwy again.

On my reboots I would run mach-portal, get the little spinning wheel and then straight to reboot so I'm not even sure if went all the way to the substrate fix. Maybe it was just bad luck statistically.

I haven't personally experienced any degradation in terms of effectiveness personally, that's interesting. That was an initial concern of mine but haven't come across it , in fact I prefer this because if mach works substrate absolutely will (in my case, ymmv)

FYI do NOT NOT NOT hit the "revoke certificate" option on Cydia Impactor unless you know what you are doing, lol. It ended up revoking my ios development certificate, which meant I couldn't get Impactor to load the mach_portal file anymore. I spent a week finding my wifes old 2010 MacBook air 11, figuring out how to update the OS to Sierra, getting Xcode on there and finally repairing my ios development certificate just to get Cydia Impactor working again.

Sigh...but I'm back on JB at least. Still holding out hope for the 10.3 JB, although it looks like it's not happening more and more every day.

JB FAM!!!!

10.1.1 **complete** 7/7+ extra_recipe **with substrate** beta 3 released.

Can confirm it works.

Also interesting , Luca claims its more stable than yalu102 on non-7/7+ devices, once you get it running.

Run Kenobi tweak off same repo as Execute Order 66/yalub3 fix before side loading the new IPA, if you have those tweaks, and good to go

otherwise, uninstall cydiarespringfix before side loading, and no longer need to use ijap substrate fix either

Kenoby it only needs to be installed and run itself or must launch something in terminal to execute ?

Just installed. Can even uninstall after if you want but remember it probably messed up your respring Cydia button removing Cydia respring fix so just uninstall after you're up and running on extra_recipe
