Its in the Dev Centre at the top but tested it and you don't need Xcode installed.

Does anyone think this is ios related?; My phone is on 10.1 beta, my boss just activated his Iphone today so hes running official 10.0.2 and my signal is 1 bubble to 2 worse than his at most times. Switched both phones over to the field mode to see the numeric value of our signal strength and mine was 10-12 lower consistently in that test. Both have the same exact phone and same carrier. Thanks!

I know xcode is at the top. Just wanted to know if you had to have that installed to upgrade/restore ipsw in itunes like you had to with the ios 10.0 betas. Thanks for testing though :)

Has apple ever actually called an iPhone Beta "Developer Beta" it seems like it has always just said "Beta"

Why did you install the beta? This is a known issue with betas. Especially early ones.
Not so sure of that. Beta 6 and 7 seems to have been better than GM or release of iOS 10. I suspect since they have started the public betas things have changed a bit. Not really had any battery issues myself in a while. Other than when I defaulted settings and let it stay that way for a day or so to see what would happen. Once I set it back up and turned off crap not using and diagnostics sending etc, things got back in order.

It's BETA 1. Many many Beta 1s have had less than ideal battery life. And in fact I see no noticeable difference on a 7 Plus vs. 10.0.1.

People need to wait WELL over 1 day to analyze battery life while the phone settles down fro the update/recaching everything. And betas are for DEVELOPERS for a reason and NOT for a primary device; not battery life hunters who have no business being on a beta and then whine about battery life and how terrible Apple is.

Hissing is not a major "issue" as made out to be any more than the fan turning on on your computer. Im sure they will address it at some point via software but the phone has been out all of 7 DAYS total. It's not #1 priority.

Sheesh, people need to relax.
Guys, you also need a relax.
And, once phone hardware is in the wild, any widespread issue should be put into serious consideration and if possible, take actions to solve them. Don't forget, all iPhone are premium phone and should receive corresponding customer services. How long the phone is in wild does not matter.
I just find it extremely ironic that the 7 with iOS 10 brings an additional two hours of battery life...and as soon as I upgraded to iOS 10GM, my phone lost two hours of battery. Went back to iOS 9 just to be sure and was able to pull 7 hours today with the same settings.
I guess Apple is just screwing up everyone not using latest hardware Through software updates. Planned obsolescence.
Why do you find that ironic? You clearly know nothing about beta builds.
Why you say this guy uses beta software? He clearly says he is using iOS 10 GM. Oh, if you also consider this version as beta then I am speechless.

Maybe you have zoom enabled in the Accessibility settings.
Then it should be reflected from screenshots as well.

Hmm? I remembered they did call iOS 10 developer beta "developer beta". Maybe I am wrong.

Sorry if this has been addressed already but how do I stop getting developer updates? I had originally restored & updated to the 10.01 official downloaded from Apple (by going into Recovery mode etc) ... so I was curious why I'm getting asked to install 10.1 beta 1 instead 10.02?

Having the same problem also. Restored from icloud backup on a new iphone 7 plus. My old 6s plus was enrolled in the public beta. The iphone 7 plus is asking to update to beta 1 instead of 10.0.2 but i cant find a beta profile or the profile section on my 7 plus. Any help? Thanks a lot.

Beta 1 has fixed the bug that prevented Photos from scanning my existing pictures for faces and keyword searches.

My phone has said that over 600 remained to be scanned ever since the early betas of 10.0. After installing this beta and connecting to power my pictures have finally scanned. I reported this to Apple ages ago but never got any feedback, glad they've finally fixed it.

Tried to submit a feedback but it's stuck in outbox and shown as "compressing"

Is this normal?
Yes it seems to take a while sometimes.

Check for the profile under settings>general and remove it. Then reboot. Also look in general>storage and icloud usage>manage storage and look for the iOS update and delete it. Then check for updates and you should get the 10.0.2 version.

I can't find the profile section either on my 7 Plus even though I know I have profiles installed. Whats even more strange is that when I tap the beta profile I no longer get the option to install it. It just brings up the share menu to email it, message it, etc.

Profiles to this point have always been under Settings>General, way down at the bottom, above Regulatory.

Above regulatory for me is a separator and then VPN. I don't have the option to install profiles anymore either.

I was getting that (share sheet) when I went back to an old email to install the profile. I emailed it to myself again in a new email and I was able to install it. I suggest you try to send it to yourself again and reinstall it then you'll be able to delete it.
