iOS 10.1 Developer Beta 1 Changes

Does anyone with a 7 plus have trouble seeing the whole words in bottom menus? On my 6s plus there is more space at the Orrin below the letters. I've restored to 10.0.2 and set up as new and it still looked the same.

I just noticed after posting the screenshots here that they look normal on the forum but not on my phone. Perhaps mine has some defect

My last backup was 5.5GB without photos, not abnormal. I also just deleted and re-backed up all 5.5GB - took 10 mins. So I don't think it's 10.1 beta or if it is, it isn't a universal problem.

Under 10.01 my backup took 5 minutes. So it must be something with 10.1 and my phone. :(

Deleted my previous iCloud backup and re ran iCloud backup. This time it took 15 minutes to backup.

Maybe you have zoom enabled in the Accessibility settings.

Do you mean, like the app screen is moved a little bit down? I experienced that yesterday.. had to restart the music app to fix it..

Yes but restarting the app hasn't fixed it. It's not just music, the App Store as well has the same problem for me. I think it is across the whole os but only noticeable in bottom menus.
 
I hope they fold some of the fixes that made it into 10.0.2 but not into 10.1 beta 1 into 10.1 beta 2 next week. Possibly Tuesday or Wednesday? I'm aware it's more likely to be a 2-week cycle.
 
Has anyone had the bug where typing a quick reply in iMessage notifications can sometimes get the keyboard stuck on screen until you reboot. And that keyboard is specific to that chain no matter what app you try to type in, sending the contents to the original chain?
 
Does anyone else noticed the Calendar app fails to notify of any contact birthdays?? I missed an important one today!

Maybe it's still buggy but I just tested it twice and works for me. What I did was start playing music, pause playback with the remote. Wait 10 minutes without touching the phone and use the remote to start playing music again - worked both times I tried it.

Quick question. I am getting my iPhone 7 Plus soon. Will it be possible to backup my iPhone 6S Plus running 10.1 beta and restore that to the iPhone 7 Plus running 10.0.x? Or will I have to upgrade the iPhone 7 Plus to 10.1 beta first also?

You have to upgrade first. Then restore the backup.

iMessage sometimes can't seems work. When I restrart phone , always want to activate again and again !!!
