I have the same issue I think on two devices (iPhone 6s Plus & iPad Air 2): I deleted the beta profile right after installing the iOS 10 FCS release, but then am offered the 10.1 beta. I have no beta profile in Settings. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I had this issue too. Was offering me 10.1 Beta 1 as the Software update, which I don't want to put a beta on my brand new 7+. Had to go to beta.apple.com on my phone, reinstall the beta profile, reboot the phone, then delete the profile. Rebooted again, and then it was offering 10.0.1.

So with Reduced Motion turned on but Message Effects turned on I assume I can ONLY receive message effect but can't send them? That sucks.

Did anyone notice an increase in storage capacity? My 32gb 7+ went from 25gb on iOS 10.0.1 to 28gb roughly on 10.1

Actually Apple just changed the unit in which the disk space is reported. You probably didn't gain any.

If you're trying to say they changed from gibibytes to gigabytes that would only take it to 26.8. Not that its relevant because they didn't do that anyway afaik

I'm talking about the hardcoded storage space capacity reported in iTunes. I had downloaded 10.1 and did not like the performance so I went down to 10.0.1 but noticed before hand that Not the free storage but the storage itself available to the system went down from 28 to 25 after the restore was completed.

Anyone willing to downgrade to see if they see this effect as well?

How's battery life for everyone on 10.1? better than 10.0.1? my SE has 1hr, 9 min usage and its on 93%
Oops wrong thread!!

I've been seeing almost identical battery life on my 6s with very similar settings to yours.

For me, this has been the case with all versions of iOS 10, starting with a fresh copy of the GM, and now trying this new beta. Can't seem to get more than 3-4 hours of usage in a day. Some of the iOS 9 betas were like this for me as well, but 9.3.5 was getting me on average around 6-7 hours of usage, and sometimes to 8.

I just find it extremely ironic that the 7 with iOS 10 brings an additional two hours of battery life...and as soon as I upgraded to iOS 10GM, my phone lost two hours of battery. Went back to iOS 9 just to be sure and was able to pull 7 hours today with the same settings.

Bizarre.
[doublepost=1474678858][/doublepost]As for changes:

While on a call, haptic feedback is extremely soft. I actually prefer this level, and wish it could be adjusted! I'd never noticed this before, so if it's not new, then my apologies.

Also, looks like the 'headphones only' option is working now for announce calls. Previously, this was only working for myself and others if the ringer switch was up.

I think I'll sit this beta out.

Just wanted to thank all of you for using the beta and dealing with the bugs this time around, since I won't be among you. Remember to report the bugs to Apple, as complaining here probably won't have any effect.

Actually, I do wonder if Apple developers read these threads. I know I would if I were a dev at Apple and it were allowed.

I would downgrade but then I cant use my watch! :(

There's one weird bug in my notifications centre that's present since iOS 10 B1. When you slide down NC at home screen (not sure if it's just at home screen) and let it stay there for a bit a white square will start to appear. First it's a white outline. Then suddenly it'll become a full blown white square and it flashes like crazy. Tried to screenshot it and you know what's the best part? It doesn't show up in the png. It's like a ghost. :S

Anybody can confirm if they have this bug too? Noticed it first on my 6s Plus when I installed the first iOS 10 beta. And now even when I switched to 7 Plus I still see it in the initial iOS 10.0.1. And now on 10.1 B1 it's still present.

Edit: got a video of it. Uploading now with my really lousy connection. Will get back with the link shortly. What I realise is only at home screen and only at top of the NC.

Edit: video at

Does beta 1 fix the issue where if you start typing a message response in Quick reply and then tap to open the app (or accidentally tap somewhere else and close quick reply) your reply disappears? This was an old issue (can't remember, iOS 8 or 9?) that they had fixed, funny that it came up when they revamped the notifications system.

Why do you find that ironic? You clearly know nothing about beta builds. And irony here doesn't really apply at all, but I'll assume you mean 'unexpected'. Generally beta builds have additional logging and other non-production code (beta hash tags - no, nothing to do with Twitter), thus creating more demand on the battery/CPU. They may include sub-optimal code and all sorts of other stuff specifically in order to test the beta builds.

If this doesn't make sense to you, or you're still finding this world ironic or unexpected, then I recommend you employ a little patience and stick the the production builds intended for the general public.

Can you access your HomeKit devices remotely? Since updating to 10.1 I can no longer access remotely. Locally I can access HomeKit.

Homekit remote works fine on my iPhone with 10.0.2 and Apple TV with with 10.0.1 beta. Have not tested my daily use iPhone with the current beta software. Note: Homekit remote can be finicky to setup the first time (see Apple Support on Homekit if trouble.)

Solved my issue. I reset my phone under settings. I could get HomeKit to work inside but not remotely. I logged out of iCloud and re-logged back in and now my HomeKit works inside and remotely.
