So Apple didn't address the battery issue. Or the hissing issue. Or the freezing issue.

Are we holding it wrong again?

It's BETA 1. Many many Beta 1s have had less than ideal battery life. And in fact I see no noticeable difference on a 7 Plus vs. 10.0.1.

People need to wait WELL over 1 day to analyze battery life while the phone settles down fro the update/recaching everything. And betas are for DEVELOPERS for a reason and NOT for a primary device; not battery life hunters who have no business being on a beta and then whine about battery life and how terrible Apple is.

Hissing is not a major "issue" as made out to be any more than the fan turning on on your computer. Im sure they will address it at some point via software but the phone has been out all of 7 DAYS total. It's not #1 priority.

Sheesh, people need to relax.

Got the DB 10.1 but no profile was found in settings, anyone know how to remove the profile?
I have the same issue I think on two devices (iPhone 6s Plus & iPad Air 2): I deleted the beta profile right after installing the iOS 10 FCS release, but then am offered the 10.1 beta. I have no beta profile in Settings. Does anyone know how to fix this?

10.1 is killing my battery life on the 7. Before someone leaps on me - I know it's a beta and I'll live.

Another thing here, while pulling down on a notification (let's say WhatsApp) to quick reply in landscape mode, the text bar is still only half long instead of the full width of the screen.

Is this a bug on apple's end or developers are the ones who have to deal with it?

I'm traveling this week and will likely avoid it for just this reason.

Can anyone verify this possible bug: Siri doesn't obey the setting to either honor the mute switch or hands-free-only setting. Test with the dictation chime. Until 10.1, selecting hands-free-only meant no chime unless on BT. Now, one wrong tap and I wake my wife!

Yeah, same issue here. iPhone 7 on 10.1B1

I tried a clean install and made no difference. I updated to iOS 10.1 from 10.01 yesterday morning and did a restore from backup and then Reset All Settings...

P.S iPhone 6S+

Perhaps just re-install the profile, restart, delete it, and restart again.

Obeying mute switch here. But I have found that it will talk despite hands-free-only if I use Hey Siri. May be intentional, since Hey Siri assumes the user might not be able to reach/view the phone.

Here's something new. I can access Bluetooth only HomeKit monitoring devices while Bluetooth is off with the iOS 10.1 beta update. This can only occur if another iOS or tvOS device is also updated and has Bluetooth on. It seems that Apple has built-in some sort of Bluetooth extender over multiple Apple devices.

Can you access your HomeKit devices remotely? Since updating to 10.1 I can no longer access remotely. Locally I can access HomeKit.
