Things are 100X better on 10.0.2 compared to 10.1B3. Yes animations aren't as smooth, but I am at 2hr6min usage/5hr30min standby and 88% remaining on my 7Plus. Might even be better than last time I was on 10.0.2.
Just had a strange thing happen ... unlocked my phone and the dock was missing... could not scroll to the NC/Widget page or 2nd page of apps... Locked the phone and unlocked it again, and all was good again. Strange.
This beta update sounds like a hit or miss for some. I'm currently on 10.0.2 iPhone 7+.. debating on if I should take the plunge or not..I've been having a lot of resprings as of late. Especially when I take a picture using the camera button in messages..
I am with the emails. They didnt come in until I unlocked my phone.

My email was like that so I went to iCloud turned email off and turned it back on now it's working like it should be.. I hope this helps

I just noticed tweetbot scrolls choppy and stutters if you scroll slowly but if you scroll fast it's smooth. same stutter behavior as in messages app when scrolling thru messages list. I wonder if it's related to the same issue.
I did that as well while I was on 10.1B3, but the issue returned. Issue is not present on 10.0.2.

Back on 10.0.2 and everything is running smoothly. Almost virtually zero standby drain over night and battery life seems even better than last time I was on 10.0.2.
You think your battery is even better than when you first got the iPhone 7 due to the fresh restore you just did?
When I first got my iPhone 7Plus it was on 10.0. I updated it to 10.0.1 then to 10.0.2. I think something may have gone wrong between 10->10.0.2. 10.0.2 was better than 10.0.1 all the way, but this version of 10.0.2 (As new through iTunes, not OTA) is holding up extremely well. I played 2 solid hours of Real Racing last night, normally get 45 minutes per 10% battery drain. Lost 14% for 2 hours. So almost half the battery drain. Phone didn't get as hot as it normally does either.
As much as I want Portrait mode. I am staying here for now. Also extremely bitter that I lost all my health data. Massive bug.
Sweet. I'll probably do a fresh DFU install once 10.1 comes out officially. So far beta working great for me. ironically I'm not even using portrait mode lol

Getting great battery life on 10.1 B3. I did on B2 for that matter as well. Finished the day at 60% with 6 hours of usage. Pretty impressed.
Not working for me since beta 7. I enabled location, background refresh, basically everything related, I rebooted. It keeps saying "couldn't load stories"
I'm on ios 10.1 beta 2 on my iPhone 7 Plus 256GB and I'm getting the best batterylife I've had on any ios-device this far, the bluetooth in my car finally working properly and the device works as intended. It's far better than 10.0.2 on my device, I was having random resprings with that version and trouble with bluetooth.
I just removed the beta-profile on my device and will stay on beta 2 as I won't risk beta 3 messing up my battery or bluetooth. When 10.1 drops, and the majority find it stable, I'll probably update but for now everything is working great with beta 2.

I had an issue a day ago where none of the buttons worked. It was a weird one. The Home button didn't work, nor did the power button or volume buttons. I physically couldn't do anything. It solved itself after about a minute. Not quite sure what I did!
I am having a similar thing happen. I think it is when the phone either dims after not being used for a little while or if the ambient light is low enough that the screen dims a decent amount, because when this happens, the screen is always very dim. Home button will not work and the touch screen is entirely unresponsive. The only solution is to hit the power button to lock the screen, then unlock the phone, and then everything is fine. I cannot always reproduce this issue, it seems to happen randomly.
