I am still on PB2 and holding. This morning I had the issue where both my Garmin watch and Plantronics headphones disconnected at the same time. I look over at the phone and the bluetooth icon is flashing. About 10 seconds later they both reconnect. I have submitted this via the Feedback app.

Still debating PB3 on an iPhone 6s.

I am having a similar thing happen. I think it is when the phone either dims after not being used for a little while or if the ambient light is low enough that the screen dims a decent amount, because when this happens, the screen is always very dim. Home button will not work and the touch screen is entirely unresponsive. The only solution is to hit the power button to lock the screen, then unlock the phone, and then everything is fine. I cannot always reproduce this issue, it seems to happen randomly.

Yeah. I couldn't even hit the power button. Has anyone noticed that sometimes when the screen goes dim, it lights up again?

Running here on 6S and iPad Pro 12.9. Everything seems to work great for me. Fast and mostly bug free.

I'm on PB3 with an iPhone 7+ and I'm less than impressed with battery life. I wouldn't consider myself a heavy user and I'm ending my average day under 10%. Most of my usage is simple web browsing, playing music through the phone's speakers (screen off), Waze running to and from work (about 15 minutes each way), and some light gaming throughout the day.

On the 6s anyway, one of the major things I did was disable "raise to wake". On the 6s it was causing major battery drain unless the phone was just laying still on a desk. Even though the screen never lit up, on my morning 1hr run my phone would eat up 25% of the battery until I turned that feature off. Now it uses 3-5%.

That was one of the first things I did after setting up the phone. It's nice sometimes but I have no problem pushing the home "button" to wake my phone since that's how I've always done it. The fact that it's not actually a button that can wear out helps too.

The 7 Plus is a bit hit and miss with battery life, even on 10.0.2. On a normal work day, it'll last 7am - 6pm easily (I'm a very heavy user). But today it burnt out in 8 hours with hardly any use (it was my day off and spent most of it with the phone in my pocket).

I have a feeling its something to do with reception/modem firmware. It heats up like a furnace when signal is weak, and gives me a "could not connect to mobile data network" error frequently when switching between 3g/4g, but doesn't actually impact my ability to use mobile data.

Here are a couple of observations from beta 3 so far:

1. I started getting an unresponsive phone a couple of times. Does not respond to button presses and then after a few seconds it starts recognizing all the button presses all at once. Anybody else seeing this?

2. Battery life seems worse than beta 2 so far. Just a slight decrease, but definitely worse.

I haven't noticed any excessive heat at any point in my usage not have I ever had a problem with switching between towers/networks.

17K + posts is too much to read to see if this is covered but I have an issue with mail on my iPhone 6+ that is driving me nuts.

When I draft a message, new or reply, after dealing with who the message is to, CC'd, BCC'd, when you click in the message body at the top or the message there is behaviour that is strange.

In my case I have a default signature in message that is 8 or 9 lines of text. So I click in the blank above the signature to start typing but then Mail hides all the lines of CC, BCC, subject, etc and when I start typing my reply the cursor has actually placed itself in the middle of my default signature. Since I have to pay a lot of attention to the keys I need to tough to avoid typos I am focussed on the keyboard and I've typed complete sentences before realizing the cursor was between my name and title and not where I touched in the email.

It's really a nuisance that should not happen

SOME animations are better. Still the annoying home screen animation bug... it's not some "exclusive animation" to the 7 and 7 plus. Still dropping frames in the task switcher.

No I'm complaining that its not working as it has for 9 years. When you do the same thing every day for 9 years it becomes second nature. Have to think about hitting a button that you never actually had to doesn't just happen overnight. I even know that I have to hit the button but I still don't.

Odd, because on my 6S+, after typing a comma, I hit the space bar and the regular key board pops right back up. Always has in every beta.

I noticed your first bug. But I'm on 10.02.

Which network are you with? I'm on EE in the U.K. by the way. Never experienced these problems on my 6s.

It's completely feasible that my network is to blame, as I'll get the could not connect message at exactly the same place on my commute every morning.

Yeah that would make sense. I'm on AT&T in the U.S. and have pretty solid coverage in my area.

I'm currently traveling and used my phone while on the flight where my coverage was flipping between E, 4G and no service and there was no heat. Might be worth having it checked out.

Yeah, I'm seeing #1 as well. The last time it happened I scrolled up and down, tapped on some buttons and if you wait they will all process eventually.

Force closing the app seems to resolve it or even just pressing the home button and opening the app again. I'll be filing a bug. Super annoying.

Have they fixed camera launch delay with iPhone 6S/7? Because on iOS 10.0.2 and lower versions, From time to time, opening camera gives blurred view and it takes 3-6 seconds to get it working....So annoying.

I now understand people's frustrations with the 7 (probably with 7+ also).

It has lag in weird places. We probably won't see performance improvements until 10.2 or as late as 10.4. I'm basing this on the mess that happened in iOS 9.

Don't know if this is new but I just noticed it. Can someone else confirm that it's happening to them:

Place a call using the dial pad in the phone app.
Turn off screen (must be on speaker or turning off the phone will result in a hangup, I think this is new).
Turn screen back on and unlock the phone. The last screen you were on was the dial pad in phone app. The call button is and I'm pretty sure it used to be the red hangup button. The green bar to return to the call in progress screen is on top.

The lock button would hang up the phone if headphones/Bluetooth or speakerphone aren't used for some time now.
