Through beta 4, my iPhone 7 was still occasionally failing to give me Reminders alerts. Anyone else have this problem and notice if it's been fixed in beta 5?

This is a core function of iOS and seems like a significant bug to me. Unless I'm the only one experiencing it?
Hmm. I'm on iPhone 7 10.1.1 and every once and awhile my alerts for reminders don't work but the badge will be there. Nice to see they haven't fixed this yet... (sarcasm).

My stopwatch acts goofy too every now and then and when I start it it will count 1-2-1-2 on the hundredths of seconds and not count up higher until I force quit and start it over again.

Like in beta 4 on Iphone 7 during a phone call if I turn off the screen I can't turn it on either power button nor home work anymore...
Am I the only one I didn't see anyone talk about that issue....

Please excuse my ignorance, how does a newer kernel affect the OS? Thanks in advance!

The kernel oversees communications, memory management, clock speeds and other functions related to the hardware. Apple tweaks it every now and then for performance, battery life etc.

Safari and Mail apps still stutter while opening and closing. Other apps are smooth and they were fine on 10.1.1. Not sure what changed to make them stutter, but I wish they'd fix it.

I have been experiencing the same thing on my iPhone 6 since 10.2 or it may have even started in 10.1. Even daily reminders, that I mark as done, sometimes come back or don't the next day... annoying issue indeed.

is the iPad Air2 orientation bug fixed?

It's not, I was just coming here to see if anyone knows of a way to fix it that doesn't involve a reboot. The old trick of toggling the orientation lock or opening and closing the notification area don't seem to fix it any more.

The app switcher scrolling animation is improved in frame rate. It's still dropping frames but it's the first improvement I've seen since the start of the 10.2 betas
[doublepost=1480724060][/doublepost]Hmm scratch that. Now the app switcher can lock up far worse than before seemingly randomly. It's like it's closer to the first iOS 10 betas where the app switcher would sometimes freeze complete and take as long as 30 seconds to unfreeze or just crash the phone. Well, hopefully this change is a sign that they're finally starting to do something about it. It's strange that a premium device like the iPhone can't get smooth frame rates in the OS. Anyone switching from android would be pretty surprised to find that general lagginess in the animations. It gives the impression that the phone is struggling and isn't as powerful as the advertising claims.
