I really hope a new iTunes is released as well. This iTunes backup connection reset is driving me up a wall. Or 10.12.2 fixes the problem. Because if this is the final build, then obviously nothing on iOS end will change.

yes if you go based off how iOS 10.1 was released... that was on a monday and the week after beta 5.

Probably not the one to be asking. I have not experienced a single respring on iOS 10 on any of my devices and I have been testing since 10.0 Beta 4. Additionally, I have hardly ever experienced an app crash unless its a known issue from the app itself. I literally have zero problems, no lag, no complaints. 10.2 fixed my safari keyboard bug and thats all I cared about.

I only experienced some choppy animations on my 7 Plus on 10.1. Other than that, no complaints.

Glad to know I am not the only one. Thats why when people are always complaining here, I don't understand because that is not my experience.

Many complain for every single thing they can because they have too much time on their hands. If it doesn't break usage, then it's not necessarily a priority to fix.

I agree, T-Mobile customer here and normally I have amazing speeds but since the latest carrier update I haven't be able to use LTE in some apps, or it crawls by at a snails pace. Hopefully they will fix it soon, I am going to fill out a bug report tonight.

Also, is there anyone in here who is having issues with the representation of how much storage space you have on the device? My phone is 256GB and in iTunes it shows its capacity as 231.48 which is normal I think... however, on device it says that I only have 159.3GB available why is this different? Does anyone else have this problem? View attachment 676198

EDIT: Whoops, I figured it out it just displays weird in that screen, the capacity is found under About and in this Storage screen it is only mentioning the amount of freespace. Please ignore my question!

If u have Apple Music and stream a lot of songs it downloads the songs and saves it as a cache and it won't come up in the storage. There's a way to delete the Apple Music cache. I was wondering where 10gbs went to

I believe the "battery fix" alone will force Apple to release it today.
My 6s got a new battery because it turned off at 30-40% battery left. Even with a new battery it used to turn off at around 5-10%
After b4 it ran all the way down to 1%. Many times now.

So for me, the early-shutdown-problems of the 6s's were not hardware problems alone.

Just noticed these terrible battery usage statistics on my iPad Pro 12.9" 128GB. I hadn't looked at the battery life since seeing about 98% and just now looked again and was shocked to find it at 31%.
Using Beta 5 also.
Battery seems to drop 2 percent every 5 or 6 minutes. Just browsing Safari and messaging.

Everyone's getting excited for the official release today but people on beta 5 are effectively running 10.2 GM. If there is an update, it'll be very minor.

Missed more calendar notifications today. I'm not the sort to get bent out of shape over every little glitch, but this intermittent failure to send calendar and reminder notifications is serious – that's a core phone function and it needs to be fixed.

Hello everyone.. I am Still having an issue installing beta like I did with four keeps telling me that the update can't verify. I've tried a reboot and resetting my network settings and deleting the beta profile and putting it on again still no luck I am stumped. Anyone have any other ideas as to what I can try to fix this?

Have you tried on a different wifi network? Also may need to reboot your router then try again.

For the most part I have not noticed any issues. The only thing that is an annoyance is iTunes backups not working 100% of the time but I'm assuming it's a compatibility issue and a new iTunes will be released soon. Battery life on beta 5 is up over beta 4 and that was better than 10.1.1. I have no complaints.

What specifically are you referring to? Not getting the backup to complete or unable to restore one of the backups created? I am regularly creating backups without issue (as far as I know) via iTunes 12.5.3 (non-encrypted tho). They complete successfully but have not attempted to restore one.

I predict a Thursday release since last beta was only on Friday. Unless there is another beta in the works.

I installed iOS 10.2 Beta 5 on my Air 2 and iPhone SE .

I have to admit that the orientation lock issue became less frequently when I installed beta 4.
I installed Beta 5 today on my Air 2. The orientation lock issue seems to be disappeared. I will post here if this issue happen again

I have reinstalled iTunes, changed cables and USB ports. This did not start until I upgraded from 10.1.1 to 10.2B4 and is on all my devices. I have also deleted the contents of the lockdown folder on my two Macs. So its either a compatibility issue between iOS and iTunes, a bug in iTunes or a bug in iOS.
