10.2 Beta 5 gave me phenomenal battery life on my 7Plus. I posted screenshots in the beta 5 thread. I was getting 2+ hours more of SOT than 10.1.1 per charge.

Do you use any adblocker? If so which?
I kinda thing adblocker can be a huge impact specially if use lots of safari.

Question: is it a bug or a feature that Messages doesn't remember entered text when going from the lock screen quick reply to the app, but does remember entered text when going from a non-lock screen to the app?

And if it's a feature , what might be the reason for it? (Still present in beta 6.)

Same. Never had this issue on my 6S or 7+

I've always thought they use less battery. Less things have to load on the webpage, less data being used, and its faster. Common sense would dictate less battery usage, but I don't know.

When I try to sign in I get an error telling me that I'm "not authorized to view this page." I was thinking that it was either a beta bug or that it could be because DirecTV hasn't turned on the feature yet or something but I thought I'd ask if anyone else has had the same problem and found a solution.

This is what i believe ( some adblocker), i was using 1blocker and had great life, adguard pro drain battery very quickly and safari battery usage went up significantly but i am using it as it blockes in app too, same with adblock.

I was thinking that it was either a beta bug or that it could be because DirecTV hasn't turned on the feature yet or something but I thought I'd ask if anyone else has had the same problem and found a solution.

It's worked for me since it was released. Could be your subscription plan maybe? UVerse is DirectTV so but DirectTV Now is something entirely different (login wise)

I could have sworn DirectTV was part of the original few that were available when it first launched. I've seen DirectTV for a least a week now.

directv was not part of the original providers. Went back and did a search and DTV was added on BETA 5.
I went from Beta 4 to 6.

First backup attempt with 7Plus failed . Dang it.

Second attempt worked.

All 4 iPad backups have been successful.

Did your 7Plus have b5 or b6 when it failed?

Yes, it was a widely shared problem with prior betas, at least. May have been resolved with beta 6, unless you're still seeing it.

Oh my gosh, I think it's fixed. This is amazing. I really thought I had a hardware problem. This made my day.
