iOS 10.2 BETA 6 - Changes, Bugs, and Fixes

Because not just Supercell games have it. Grepolis and 8 Ball pool have it too after iOS 10, and its 3 different company. And if you need more proof, go to YouTube app, scroll and see the awesome stutters.

Luckily, I'm not particularly "sensitive" to stutters/lag unless it's really obvious, but the one app where it does bother me is Tapatalk...
Since iOS 10 scrolling has been generally pretty bad.
Anyone else experiencing it?

Tapatalk is garbage on Android too. So problem is that we have only one app that supports forums.

I like the all caps "BETA" in the title. Shows the frustraton of constant beta updates.

Why would you be frustrated? Most would love to see betas as much as possible. If it frustrates you you should remove the beta profile and only get releases. No need to subject yourself to such punishment since its voluntary

I'm going on 2 hours of usage and still hovering at 86%. usage has included, youtube, safari, Instagram, twitter and FB as well as a few emails here and there. this is a slight improvement for me over b5

Hello guys. I am starting to lose hope now.
This bug persists since iOS 10, with 9.3.5 and below it was super-smooth. Since iOS 10, some games (including all Supercell games like Clash of Clans, Clash Royale etc) are stuttering. You can reproduce it like that: In Clash of Clans login, click on your defense log. Scroll. You will see stutter. Close your defense log and swipe+scroll your village. Try to read your clan name. It will be hard because of very bad stutter. Most of times the stutter fix for a few seconds if you click on your profile and scroll. I have uploaded a video about Clash Royale stutter:

Does not lags at 0:00-0:26 then starts lagging after 0:27, you can clearly see.
All Supercell games behave like this after iOS 10 update. Stuttering. You can see at the first it is smoooth but when I go to the shop and back to my cards, stutter started. Tested with 6 devices with iOS 10, all of them have this issue. With iOS 9.3.5 this problem was not here.
If i release my finger, stutter go away but if i touch screen and scroll, it stutters.

It is very sad they still didnt fix this iOS 10 bug... :/

Did your 7Plus have b5 or b6 when it failed?

Just ran another iPhone 7 Plus backup and iPad Air 2 backup. Both successful. So, so far, I am 8/9 on backups. Only one iPhone failure out of 3 and 5 for 5 successful iPad backups. Whether this build fixed it or not, its definitely better.

Still get the black screen animation 50% of the time when closing the messages app. Has been around since first beta.. How do they not notice something so obvious?

I don't think it's even that new. I'm seeing it in 10.1.1 final. Though personally, I'm more hopeful that the keyboard freezing apps bug is finally fixed. The only workaround is rebooting the phone. Can't handle it much longer.

Just updated, reading through the thread I also agree that the haptic for pressing the home button on my 7+ is changed with the update.

Will report anything else, there weren't many other bugs for me in b5 besides the t-mobile specific issue of loading content in apps when on LTE. I will test this tomorrow when away from Wi-Fi.

Only major bug that's been annoying me is the messages quick reply window, sometimes when I 3D Touch info it I get duplicate messages or out of order messages or duplicate ... typing bubbles. Seems to happen randomly.

i've noticed this too. i don't know how to replicate it.

Not sure if it only occurs when I 3D Touch versus pull down. I end up doing the move so reflexively I can't remember which I used but when it happens it's annoying

only think i have found that fixes it is a reboot, which is frustrating when it happens to someone i text frequently. i've submitted the bug a few times but still haven't figured out how to replicate it. seems to happen on pull down or 3d touch devices. (happens on my 6 and my 7+)

Personally, I am no longer having issues with LTE on T-Mobile. It started for me after updating to beta 4, but beta 6 seems ok. Getting great speeds and at -100 dbm

Is the iPad Air2 Orientation Bug fixed?

It should be filed under reoccurring bugs if not.

Furthermore i can confirm that this release feels much smoother than any previous iOS 10 version. Especially App Switching is blazingly fast :-O
