iOS 10.2 Beta 7 - Changes, Bugs, and Fixes

Of course it's not the same code. What do you think their developers do for weeks on end?

I've had the same version installed as new phones on the same device give very different bugs/problems. I have no idea how it happens but it absolutely can

I have the same issue, it says it reset after the backup is complete. I'm going to file another bug report for this version.
I've also had duplicated phone calls in my recents screen, and it fails multiple times since the new update to make calls outbound it fails sometimes.
Still have about 3 springboard resets per day.
Don't think this is ready for release this week, but given apple history of late it will ship and be hailed as the best iOS update ever.
 
Anyone having issues with playback through the speaker? I can put my phone in Airplane Mode and have no headphones connected in the jack and the volume says it is outputting to Headphones?! Never had this before and wondered if it was due to Beta 6/7?
 
So no update to the TV providers since mid last week. Still 10 of them. If 10.2 does drop today or tomorrow, I hope the released version has a lot more. Or its DOA.

What do you mean its not the same code. I have 2 iPhone 7s in my household and 3 iPhone 7Plus'. Each device has its own unique problems. Same code, same software, different issues. All phones were set up as new.

No not yet. I think its getting worse. It took me 45 minutes to get one backup to complete last night.

Seriously. It took 4 attempts for my iPhone and then 8 attempts for my iPad. I've learned that if you only have one device plugged into iTunes at a time, then it has a higher chance of being completed the first time. Not always the first but, but a better chance.

Would be stupid if people would get horrible battery life on the GM. Although it happened with iOS10.
I remember reading that people got great battery life in the betas (and I got great battery life myself) but when the GM was released it all went downhill, 10.1.1 has been the worst offender.

16 hours of standby can get you 7 percent usage, which is great. But if you receive some messages it can drain 20 percent within 3-4 hours. Guess the sleep mechanism is bugged or something.

Anyway, Hoping 10.2 will be awesome! But I won't be updating without reading stuff here first.

Are you plugged in or using wireless backup? encrypted or not? I am not having any issues backing up either wired or wireless. I am not encrypting tho. Maybe thats the issue? I just did a backup of iP6s 64 in 5 min wireless via iTunes.

BTW just received a carrier update as well during this. 27.1 (Verizon)
