Why release a beta for that, when Apple said its coming in a new software update next week.

Because not everyone is a beta tester.....they probably want to make sure everything is running ok with the battery diagnostics added.

iOS will never again NOT stutter in certain areas. After 4 years you think people would at least sort of get used to this stuff. Not saying I like it but I've just come to accept the new way of doing things at apple.

Better performance than beta 6 on iPhone 5. The music app is much faster than in beta 6. Feels great!

This is the first release where the TV app actually works on my iPod Touch. It. It no longer says "not available ".

The same bug has reoccurred for me since the start of 10.2. If I have an Apple Music Curated Playlist saved offline, it is impossible to save songs from it to my Library. So, if the playlist gets updated, it's gone unless I remember the song name and go find it after it gets removed.

Even if I search manually for the song, it thinks I have it in my Library.

Some Curated Playlists even advertise in the description to "Push the + button to save a song you love before it's gone!" That's just salt in the wound on 10.2

I just saw something new to me (might be from an earlier beta): When doing an in app purchase, I used to be prompted for touch id, and then a new prompt giving me into on the purchase and asking me if I wanted to go ahead. That info and question is now in the touch id prompt, cutting the steps for iap in half. Is this new?

The full screen Now Playing view bug on the iPad Music app still hasn't been fixed. But that's hardly surprising at this point. Seems Apple is focusing all its energy into getting the TV app at least passably functional so they can push 10.2 to the public next week. All other bug fixes seem to be on hold until 10.3 if Apple decides to do one or iOS 11 otherwise.
