Can you elaborate?

Your ipad will be so slow you'll want to throw it out the window... Need anything else? Lol

Still early days obviously, but so far so good. I never had any problems on 10.1.1. So far 10.2 seems at least as good if not slightly better.

I have been on 9.3.5 since they stop signing it and I'm too scared to update to 10.2 because of how bad 10.0/1 was for me on my 6S+

Hmmm my safari still gets kicked out of ram over night every night on iOS 10.2. Anybody else having this? Even if it's the last app I used it always has to refresh every tab after I leave it alone and plugged in overnight. I've never seen this until iOS 10. Anybody else's phone do this too? I'm on an iPhone 7.

I noticed the same. I hate it so much. My screen was perfect before. Its more blueish to me now and the the colors are more washed out- .. i wish i could get iOS 10.1 back now, or the old display calibration :(
edit: iPhone 7plus here btw.

I suspect 10.1.1 is still being signed by Apple as 10.2 literally just landed. So you could go back with some effort....

Anyone can try locking and unlocking their screens a few times during a call? After a few times, the sleep/wake and home button will suddenly become unresponsive.

What do you mean, the tint? I didn't know there was a tint covering the wallpaper?

There was. Give yourself sometime to get used to this new display

Сamera app continues to preserve the last settings despite disabling this feature in the Settings.
iPod Touch 6 and iPhone 5 on iOS 10.2 Final.

Anyone else notice that in the Settings App under TV you get 2 completely different pages on the iPad and iPhone. iPad is giving me first a complete list of Apps to toggle to use with the TV app and a Clear Play History yet I cant find any on this on the iPhone?

One annoyance fixed. If I was listening to a streaming radio broadcast on a web page w/ BT headphones, going to another page that had a video (but that didn't auto play) would stop the radio broadcast. Would have to start the streaming back up.
Now the stream isn't interrupted.

Thank you so much, gentlemen.
I'll stay on 7.1.1 as long as I can.

A huge bug: you cannot sync videos on iTunes media library to iPhone or iPad anymore.

carrier updates are not part of ios 10.2, its the same release as beta 7 so i didnt have to update, 2am launch day before we knew it was launching then, no carrier update, later same day same ios, carrier update..

As I recall, they do get bundled with the iOS update often though, meaning that those installing the final 10.2 release would get the particular carrier update that is bundled with it (unless perhaps they already have a more recent one already).

So, has anyone seen a carrier update for AT&T? B7 had 27.0.1.
I have only read in this thread of (USA) T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon getting 27.1........

I hate being that guy as I never complain about battery, but it has definitely taken a hit with 10.2 (and my storage for that matter), anyone else experiencing poor battery?

They are and they aren't... For example with 10.2 it upgraded the carrier settings to 27.0 on all but AT&T (27.0.1), and then when you went to about, it updated to 27.1 OTA for some. So the can come both ways.

It might be a little too soon to tell. But I have been running this build since last Monday and it definitely has better battery life for me than 10.1.1 and most of the 10.2 betas.

Did I just noticed a bug or am I missing something?

Back on iOS 10.0 and 10.1.x, there was a little sound like a toothed wheel, plus the taptic feedback, when scrolling through a selector like time adjustment for an alarm.

Since the beta 6 of 10.2 (at least because its where I started), I only have the taptic feedback and the sound is missing. Everything is ok with my sound settings and I'm not on vibration mode.

Is it a bug? Is it new? Can someone confirm it's happening for you too?

I'm in Switzerland and I've been using 10.2 since beta 6 and until yesterday carrier settings version was 27.0. After going to Settings menu to check if the final 10.2 was available, I was prompted if I wanted to install carrier settings 27.1.

As of iOS 10.2 the sound for the selector wheel is now once again tied to the keyboard click sound setting, as used to be the case before iOS 10. Now if they would only bring that back for the Calculator app so that the keys there would follow that setting too, like they used to before iOS 10.

Oh... you're right.

I think it's actually a stupid move. I love the sound on the scrolling wheel, but I don't like having keyboard sounds.

Apple in 2016 is definitely going crazy...

I guess everyone has their preferences. All these sounds used to be tied to the keyboard click sounds for years and years until iOS 10, so it was a bit of a surprise for many who didn't care for these sounds to suddenly start hearing them when they always had keyboard clicks turned off.

Well since they introduced that "System vibrations" option, they could have called it "System sounds and vibrations" and group everything under the same setting.

Sadly there's nothing we can do.

Thank you for your help.

It seems that they've removed the haptic feedback for opening notification centre just enough to get the search bar to show. That's a shame, I found that useful. This is on the 6s.
What use was that? You still had to open the entire thing before you could search.

After updating my iPhone 6s and iPad Pro 9.7 to iOS 10.2, I noticed these in the Settings > General > About screens for each device:

  • iPhone 6s: Verizon 27.1
  • iPad Pro 9.7 (WiFi+Cellular): Verizon 27.0

The carrier update seemed to install on its own on the iPhone.
