What about when you pull down the Notification Center? I loved the little sound it made in iOS 10.0-10.1.1, but it's gone in 10.2. How do I get it back?
Actually I haven't paid attention to that, sorry.

But I assume the workaround is similar to the scrolling wheel sound: tied to the keyboard sounds option, so it won't be possible to turn on.

EDIT: I tried by myself and there's NO sound even with keyboard sounds active.

Yes, this was found to be a new feature in 10.2 since the first beta I believe.

Ok, cool. They've also finally fixed dragging down in the today view (from springboard and lock screen) to open spotlight on iphone 7 plus. I had to pull down and before it snapped back up pull down again for it to work. Now it works like it does on the home screen.

if you use reachability (double tap on home button) with iOs 10.2.... only the icons move down and not the wallpaper.. se no more black effect on the upper half of the screen :)

I just noticed that on my iPhone SE, a group of 3 people chatting won't show the profile pictures anymore. It just shows "3 People"

Agree, but maintains 90% yet. so, in my opinion, and using CoconutBattery 3.4, i still think it's an iOS problem

Same as mine, battery was still healthy, however, I opted to change the battery and the battery drain problem has been resolved.

It is interesting that problems started for many many IPhone 6 and 6S owners, like me, when updating to iOS 10. (Despite Apple denying the problem exists on all but a small number of phones).

The cynic in me wonders if IOS 10 deliberately rendered older batteries, (which are still healthy) to start 'playing up' when they reach a certain 'battery cycle' level irrespective of the health of the battery as part of Apples apparent 'planned obsolescence' strategy. It will be interesting to see how long IPhone 7 batteries last before they start experiencing the same problem - certainly not 2 years if I were a betting man

Just went to update to 10.2 today (finally), and when I clicked "software update," the update disappeared and I'm now told my software is up to date with 10.1.1. Any ideas what is going on?

Update: Never-mind. Multiple re-starts fixed it. No idea why it happened to begin with.

Just to warn people who may not have upgraded yet, 10.2 definitely has some app compatibility issues. I have a home security camera which suddenly stopped working after the update. I rolled back to 10.1.1 and it works, so it's definitely the ios update that caused some kind of issue. I know it's the app developer who needs to fix whatever's wrong, just wanted people to know that if they found something not working to suspect the update. In my case, having the security camera work is critical so I won't be updating anytime soon.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but they've increased the size of the touch area on the slider thumb. Yay!

I used to almost always swipe Control Centre sideways when I actually wanted to change the brightness of my screen (usually at night). No more!

This is the most noticeable improvement in UI for me in this release.

Somethings I have noticed on my 7 Plus:

-ever so slightly better battery life, like 3-5% better on average over 10.1.1

-scrolling is actually now slightly more smoother and consistent when letting the inertia take over, less jank/stutter in scrolling across all apps.

-smoother multitasking tray performance

Pretty much it for me.. Haven't seen any obvious bugs yet but yeah

This seems new. A headphone icon when Bluetooth headphones are connected.

It also showed up when I connected my phone to my bluetooth speaker to listen to spotify. I get it Apple, you don't have a headphone jack anymore but not everything connected to the iphone via bluetooth are headphones. I'm using a 6s by the way.

I noticed this as well on my 6s. All my group texts show the total user count like you said at the top of the text. I did find if you toggle "Show Contact Photos" on in the Messages settings, it will then go back to showing the people as before instead of just the total.

Of course you have to see the photos in the list of messages on the side now, which I had turned off for a reason. Thanks Apple for making a change for apparently no good reason...

I never understood people who always complain about battery life. Here's my battery saving tip, don't use the dang device for EVERYTHING THAT IT WAS INTENDED TO DO.

First of all that is a ridiculous statement. Second of all, some people don't use it for everything but still need/want more battery. What is so great about such a thin device if it can't even last a full day with ease?

So we are to buy a $700+ phone, and not be able to use it to its fullest extent? Got it.

My 6S is one that has the unexpected shutdowns, and I will be getting my battery replaced, hopefully, tomorrow. I have to charge it at least twice a day because I never know if it will die on me. Now after I get the battery replaced hopefully I won't have to do this. But yeah, I expect a battery to last a whole day no more that I use the thing.
