It also showed up when I connected my phone to my bluetooth speaker to listen to spotify. I get it Apple, you don't have a headphone jack anymore but not everything connected to the iphone via bluetooth are headphones. I'm using a 6s by the way.

I noticed this as well on my 6s. All my group texts show the total user count like you said at the top of the text. I did find if you toggle "Show Contact Photos" on in the Messages settings, it will then go back to showing the people as before instead of just the total.

Of course you have to see the photos in the list of messages on the side now, which I had turned off for a reason. Thanks Apple for making a change for apparently no good reason...
They made the contact photos option apply to the conversations themselves (at the top) as they apply to the conversation list.

Hello
I think I read before that with this update came a pair of new wallpapers, is it true? I updated yesterday and I have no new wallpapers, may be I need to do a fresh install?

iPhone 6s plus.

I believe only iPhone 7 phones had some new wallpapers included in the update.

Two more things I've noticed. Can't remember if this started before or after ios10 and it may not be iOS related.

Sometimes when I'm posting on different forums, my iPad won't switch to the numbers keyboard unless I turn the iPad into portrait position.

Then on Facebook if I watch a video and I want to exit out of it to keep scrolling, the sound of the video keeps playing even if I'm scrolling through FB or exit out of the FB app completely. I have to double click on the home button and swipe to exit the app completely for it to go off. Hope I'm explaining this clearly enough. It gets annoying.

This is iOS 10 related. You need to close the video by tapping "Done" not by exiting full screen. In iOS 10, videos will continue playing even when not in full screen as long you close the full video player by minimizing.

Hmm, I do not see this setting in the Message Settings on my SE. :(

Well, call me crazy but definitely with this iOS version my battery lasts less, much less.
My usage is amost the same every day that's why I am so sure.

I am going back to 10.1.1 just one question: I won´t be capable of use my 10.1.1 backup in 10.2, right?

Thanks a lot in advance.

My battery started giving me problems in September after I updated to iso 10. Mine fell under the battery replacement Apple is offering, and I got mine replaced Saturday. I still feel like it isn't lasting as long as it once did.

IIRC, the smaller screen iPhones don't have this option.

Confirmed, there's no setting for that on SE. Most likely because it'll take up more space anyway, on iOS 10.1 the profile photo on the conversation screen looked really off and misaligned.

Several times the the screen with the apps has shown nothing when accessing it from the home screen , but if I swipe down to notifications then swipe left it will show them. I can then return to the home screen and access the widget screen.

Can you provide steps to retrigger the issue?

I love that swiping down now shows widgets instead of notifications if that's the last screen you used.

I love that as well finally it's back!!

The greatest thing of iOS10.2 in my opinion is that we now have the iOS9 functionality back that it remembers which kind of view you used the last time so in my case that is in 95% of the cases showing my widgets (e.g. Launcher) to get instant access to apps like KeePass Touch to login instantly to things. It would be great though if these kind of things could be set somewhere in the Settings app as well.

Anyone notice some apps like instagram when hitting the switch app is not updating the last visit of the app.

I have this issue, but it's only with Instagram so far in my case. A bit annoying but not a big deal. I'm on iOS 10.2.1 developer beta 2, it's been happening since beta 1. Didn't have this issue on stable 10.2

Sometimes when I double click the home button on my iPhone 7 to reveal the app switcher, I get sent to the back of the app switcher.

The camera app launched from the lock screen is offset bottom/towards the home button, I think the space is taken up by the black bar for the cell strength/time/battery, but they are not displayed. Is this a 10.2 bug?

I posted this in another thread but just an fyi for tmobile users, they admit there's a problem with their settings and 10.2:

This is the reply I received when I contacted tmo's customer service:

Upon checking with our Technical Team they have receive known issue about the 10.2 where some customers are not able to use their data services even while connected to an LTE network.

For now there is no information on when the next update would be available for download but you can place your mind at ease as they know about the LTE issue and there should be a fix soon.

I wonder if any of the recent betas have addressed this.
