What battery draining issue?

No two people are going to have the same exact battery life as there are way too many variables involved, so what issue are you seeing.

Battery drops from 70% to 50% and then 1% within a space of 5-10 minutes. Phone then switches off and doesn't come back on until charger plugged in. Battery indicator then shows approx 50% when plugged in.

no problems here with the iPhone 7plus. But i have a friend with a iPhone 6s Plus with the same problems as u and he is using iOS10.2 now and still having this issue.

That would not be a battery drain issue, that would be an unstable battery or unstable battery indicator. If you are referring to some users having this issue with 10.1.1 and those were not affected iPhone 6s models, then no this will not have the fix. This added a diagnostic tool to find out whats causing that.

I have the IPhone 6 Plus, maybe its just the 6+ and 6s+ having these issues.

Have you checked your battery health? The most common reason that batteries become unstable and jump around is because of failing/depleted batteries.

Forgive me in advance, but how do I check battery health?

If you have a Mac, you can download Coconut battery. If you have a PC you have to use iBackupBot, but its not nearly as accurate as Coconut.

I love that swiping down now shows widgets instead of notifications if that's the last screen you used.

They also fixed the bug in Reading List where it snaps back to the top of the list whenever you scroll. Really annoying if you have a list of 80+ items like me.

Based on just today, and no other research of any worth, my battery life seems to be a bit worse than on 10.1.1.

Still, nothing to complain about, really. I thought my battery life was just phenomenal before, so I'm still good.

Did I just noticed a bug or am I missing something?

Back on iOS 10.0 and 10.1.x, there was a little sound like a toothed wheel, plus the taptic feedback, when scrolling through a selector like time adjustment for an alarm.

Since the beta 6 of 10.2 (at least because its where I started), I only have the taptic feedback and the sound is missing. Everything is ok with my sound settings and I'm not on vibration mode.

Is it a bug? Is it new? Can someone confirm it's happening for you too?

I'm in Switzerland and I've been using 10.2 since beta 6 and until yesterday carrier settings version was 27.0. After going to Settings menu to check if the final 10.2 was available, I was prompted if I wanted to install carrier settings 27.1.
What about when you pull down the Notification Center? I loved the little sound it made in iOS 10.0-10.1.1, but it's gone in 10.2. How do I get it back?

Wish they would iron out these horrible dropped frames littered throughout iOS 10

My iPhone 6 battery stills remains with problems after update to 10.2. 57% after the update. I opened Waze, and then suddenly, drops the charge to 1%. This is a serious problem and in my opinion largely caused by an iOS bug. I didn't had this with iOS 9.x. And my battery has 450 cycles and maintains around 90% of the charge after 2 years..anyone knows if 10.2 included a diagnostic tool? If yes, where?

450 cycles is alot lol

Not sure if this has been mentioned during the 10.2 betas. But my Notification Center remembers its last position. If I close it at the today view it will open at the today view.

Yes, this was found to be a new feature in 10.2 since the first beta I believe.
