iPhone 7 Plus and it's STILL making the charging ding.

Okay, so a few people have the ding still, some people don't.

Sounds like this may be a bug instead of a change.

I have the ding. 7 plus. Installed from 10.1 GM

Interesting. I rebooted my phone and it still doesn't have the ding. I updated from 10.1.1. I'm not keen on doing a reset all settings but wonder if that will fix it.

I went from 10.1.1 to 10.2 and have the ding.

Any news on Bluetooth in the car? any lagging, skipping, speeding up audio?
Yes, I'm wondering the same thing. I have issues w/ my bluetooth headphones. I have to turn off LTE to get it to work without skipping. I'm hoping the modem updates in the new beta fixes things.

Noticed the keyboard sounds are silenced on the MR mobile version of the website, when using the rolling control at the bottom of the screen. Nice! :apple:

Also noticed for HEY SIRI, the explanatory text at the bottom refers to when "connected to power", which is not applicable for the 6S (and 7).

I went from 10.1.1 to 10.2 and have the ding.

Mystery of the charging sound has been resolved. It will only make the sound if "Keyboard clicks" is turned on.

I suspect this is a bug or incomplete change, because the charging ding has NOTHING to do with keyboard clicks in practice! I'm guessing they may be working on an option to turn the charging sound off, but didn't quite get it out so they tied it to the Keyboard clicks toggle for the moment.

Thanks for figuring this out and saving me from doing a reset settings!

1. Siri is much improved in 10.2. In previous iOS 10 versions it would have trouble with name pronunciation and would not accept corrections.

2. Not seeing any improvement in smoothness of transitions. There's still a jiggle when accessing multitasking (even after Reset Settings).

3. They fixed the delayed Trash button for email from notifications (used to take 3 taps after pulling down notification before it would delete the email, now it's instant).

4. Noticing improved transparency across the board (dock, notifications, etc.)

5. New option in Nofications for when to show previews. See attached screenshot.

Are Apple News app notifications fixed? In iOS 10 I have not been able to interact with News notifications other than clearing them. And when I restart my phone all the News notifications reappear in Notification Center.

Anyone can help to reproduce an issue with Messages.app, in the To: field, choose an unsaved contact number, clicking the info button, and 'Remove From Recents' which clicks but doesn't respond in any way?

Got a spam SMS and wanted to remove the number, but didn't seem to work ever since updating to 10.2b1 on iPhone 7+.

The little Bluetooth headphone icon near the battery indicator is new for me in this build; before it would just be the battery indicator for the headphones, next to the phone battery

Has anyone tested it with Universal Clipboard (UC)?

When I copy any text or item from the Mac, it will paste once to the iPhone 7; however, if I copy any further material from the Mac, it will give a long pause on the iPhone 7, then paste the first thing I copied. Copying material from the iPhone 7 and pasting to the Mac seems to work fine most of the time.

Between my iPad mini 2 and the Mac, the UC works fine; moreover, between the iPhone 7 and the MacBook Pro, the UC works fine as well. Meanwhile, the issue with UC remains between the MacBook Pro and the iPhone 7.

How come the developer betas don't come with the feedback app?

I've got a few bugs that I'd like to report, and the feedback app always made it so simple...

Now I wonder if they resolved the issue with the Calculator app keys making sounds when keyboard sounds are turned off (and the phone is not on silent/vibrate). This has been an issue in iOS 10 so far, but perhaps they got it fixed in iOS 10.2?

Maybe I didn't notice this before but is this new? Alphanumeric? I don't remember it before!

The options/phrasing might be somewhat different, but you could create and use a password essentially, instead of a passcode, for quite some time now.
You could use alpha and numeric at the same time in a password? Maybe the phrasing/layout is what thru me off!

Just updated. Took a hefty chunk of battery (11%) applying it.

Not sure on the point of a video widget but supposed some will use it.
