I've gone from Nexus 5 to Iphone 7 plus, well, this stuttering it's a feature?
Is it a feature? Don't be silly.
Is it something Apple can fix with a software update? I have no idea.
I think Stulaw said it best, sometimes there is a visual stutter when interfacing with your phone. IMHO, I think you're being hyper sensitive on this "issue." Just my opinion though.

I'm digging the battery life so far.

Rich YouTube video content does a much better job of playing in 10.3. In the past, I'd usually tap the "play" button and the audio would work fine but the video would be frozen on the first frame until I closed out and reopened the Messages app. After killing and reopening the Messages app, the video would play correctly within the chat thread.

With 10.3, video plays fine...but there's no audio unless I either A) flip the switch to take the phone out of silent (tapping the audio "on/off" icon within the video does nothing), or B) tap the video to make it full screen...then hit "done" to shrink it back into the Messages app thread...then tap the audio "on/off" icon on the video to get audio.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

  • Pins inside Maps now shrink (again) when tapping to the side. Has been broken since release of iOS 10.

Has anyone found a way / app that can clean the cache with the new APFS? Battery Doctor & Memory Pro do absolutely nothing at all.

Is there a "hack" that can force the iPhone to clear the cache that works with APFS?

iPad Air 2 keeps freezing. I can tap items in an app but can't lock device or access app switcher or home.
Reboot by pressing the home and power buttons at the same times, then release the home button.

Respring by pulling the notification center down and sliding the screen halfway between that and the widgets. Touch in the search box and you'll respring. This worked on 10.2 as well.

Yeah, just download a bunch of really big apps or rent a movie, put some large files on your iphone to trigger the cleaning process.

I tried using that & iPWNStore. It installs 2 apps, the original app that I sideloaded & another blank app with numbers as its name. It won't delete no matter what. I guess it's because of Apple new file system?
On Cydia Impactor getting stuck on GeneratingApplicationMap
No idea what that means, but it won't install on my 7 at all
Installs fine on 6s (10.2)

Anyone got the update on Three iPhone 7? I haven't received the update for some reason

This is a developer beta only... As a developer you can push a profile too your phone and then it will download the Dev beta. Three aren't involved

The public beta will likely start anytime in the next few weeks. This is open to everyone

Three do make carrier updates available. These tend to also go into iOS updates though they should apparently be shipping a new one tomorrow for WiFi calling... Independent of iOS release

Here, there and everywhere
B1 working well for me except for the battery draining faster than under 10.2. Phone is warmer than normal so I guess there is an errant process running, or maybe its related to the new file system and optimizing the file system. (Usually when this happens its related to the keychain, but I've signed out and back in again and no improvement)

It'd be appreciated if someone could do a comparison when closing apps on 10.2 and 10.3 using iPhone 7. I want to see what the speee increase is like.

I have beats solo3 wireless. Had stuttering, constant pausing (despite my music being stored on the device) and have never had this issue before. Unpaired/paired my headphones and it worked fine after that. Going to try the same thing with my ford sync tomo to see if it fixes the issue there as well.

I will give that a try, with the unpaired/paired see how it goes!

Had to switch my phone out (running 10.3) yesterday....while signing out of iCloud I was presented with options to save certain things on the device? I forget what it said and I couldn't take a screen shot. Then....after restoring my new phone on 10.2 I was asked to enter the passcode from my previous phone. I just turned on two-factor last week....was that because of this or is this new to the beta?

I have data on my iPad again. Woke up this morning and saw LTE. Not sure how that happened.

Tried the reprovisioning again and it worked.
