Today's battery life on my iPhone 6+. So I think it's not bad for the first real cycle imo.

Had to switch my phone out (running 10.3) yesterday....while signing out of iCloud I was presented with options to save certain things on the device? I forget what it said and I couldn't take a screen shot. Then....after restoring my new phone on 10.2 I was asked to enter the passcode from my previous phone. I just turned on two-factor last week....was that because of this or is this new to the beta?

Entering the code I believe is two factor. The signing out of iCloud and being asked if you wanted to save things, I think that's new.

5h on my 6s Plus... I'm going to do a restore of my phone now. If tomorrow I have the same battery life, I'll go back to iOS 10.2.1

What? That doesn't really explain anything. I said the code is 2FA. The signing out of iCloud is a different story. I know 2FA is from iOS 9 as I've been using it since.
I read what you said, duh. What new thing in iOS 10.3 is signing out of iCloud account now asks you to save any of your thing. New to everyone who has iOS 10.3 beta.

I am pretty sure that won't work anymore. But DFU restore should. No one has said for sure on that but I am confident that the shift/restore won't work due to the file system change. Not seeing a reason why a dfu would not work tho.

Restore to 10.2 and then upgrade to 10.2.1

Regarding the new file system. If I update to the 10.3 public beta. Can I still go back to 10.2.1 if I wanted to?

I too would like to know this. I read that it had changed & you'd be unable too.

So backing up phone now is a total must ?

So is beta 1 stable/smooth enough to jump into ?

I know there will be bugs , aesthetic &/or performance wise , but I'm just interested in hearing of your experience. Is it smooth enough to be used on a daily device. I know you shouldn't , but was wondering if it was stable enough , or riffled with bugs & worth waiting till beta 3 or 4 ?

PUBLIC BETA WOOT! This one gives me the tiniest bit of worry over the file system update, but I haven't heard any reports of issues so far and I'm stoked to see the new animations, performance improvements, settings app changes, and so on. Think I'm gonna do it.

On 10.3 beta on 6s. I have been facing an unique problem.
If I select 4G, It's taking hell of a time getting connecting to internet. Whereas if I select 2G it connects in better way. I tried resetting the network settings, but no results. Does anyone know how to get better internet speeds.

Are you complaining about that like it's a bug?

No, I was simply responding to someone because someone else mentioned it and I was chiming in with what my iPhone 7 Plus does. I spend .001% of my time in the cellular menu, so I really don't care that it stutters, but other people seem to care, so I was chiming in on my findings.

The news app now has the ability to hide annoying sections like trending news and featured stories from the for you page. Just tap the giant heart icon with a line through it next to these sections.
