For my iPhone 7, the lockups where the phone becomes unresponsive to every input and requires a hard reset seems to be happening mostly during app updates. Happened to me numerous times this morning when the App Store was trying to update 6 apps at once. Had to hard reboot a couple times for all the apps to finish updating.

My iPhone 6 keeps asking me to activate two-factor authentication. This is really annoying me becuse I don't want to use it. Could this be a bug in 1OS 10.3 beta 1?

Hi guys,
Recently I found problem with playing movies or videos on my apple tv 3 which give me error on video playback and not showing photos in my photos app unless I turn on screen mirroring.
Before it I used to play movies with infuse app in background playback mode without any problem. But from iOS 10.2.1 public release and now on iOS 10.3 beta 1, I reached this problem.
I don't know this problem caused by iOS or not!
Any one knows anything about this guys?

Any suggestion?

It's a good security measure, but is it nagging? If there's a way to disable it I think it should be okay to have the dialog.

Does anyone have Health battery drain?

Health seems to be causing battery drain for me on 10.3. Tried erase and restore. Same issue.

Altough I use the app daily. I don't have such issue. Its usually around %1-2 for me on 10.3

I am also getting the nag about two-factor security....maybe every other day or so....def a nag to me.

Looks like you have low service. Probably your biggest culprit.

What do you mean by Low Service ?

Thanks for your reply.

You have 2 bars of cellular service. Anything under 3 will cause battery drain, lower the service, higher the battery drain. Having 0-1 bars of service will drain a 100% charged iPhone 7Plus to 0% in under 3 hours.

Very interesting thought. However my wife's matching IP6 on 10.1.1 runs perfectly. Same house, same rooms... her battery life is wonderful.

I do not know about her service "bars", so I will look into that tonite.

Also, I have put my phone in airplane mode to charge, because it charges faster. I will, based on your thoughts, try an airplane mode discharge test....

Thank you again.

You might want to turn on WiFi Calling (not WiFi Aassist) if you have good WiFi. I have 1-2 bar reception at my house and this has made taking calls a non issue and has also helped battery life.

Every device might have different reception. So its possible your wife has better service. Im not saying that this is the only reason why your battery life is poor, but it is a variable. There are literally hundreds of variables that affect battery life, that is why no two devices will have similar battery life unless all variables are accounted for, like when Apple does their testing.

Noticed today that any new photo's taken don't show in the Photos app - is this a know issue?

Anyone having sync issues with mail/contact/calendar accounts?

Second time now since 10.3 last week my gmail contact/calendar have stopped syncing between the phone and Google so nothing I added on the phone or on the web syncs to the other device. Never seen this before ever with iOS.

They do after a while just not straight away
While I haven't noticed this on my device this time around, I seem to remember having a similar bug back in the 10.0 betas where new photos wouldn't show up in the 'Photos' tab but would be there if I went to the 'All Photos' album. As per usual and always important, I'd recommend reporting it via the bug reporter and being as specific as you can. Hopefully they'll get it fixed quick if they don't already know about the issue.
