Another issue... after pulling my phone off the charger this morning, I have NO app info in the battery usage settings...

My battery life has really been pretty good... but no app specific detail.

That's not a bug. Take a close look on your screenshot.

It most definitely IS a bug... want proof? Here's the screen shot from over 8 hours later... still no detail.

Yes. The Outlook app has been having crazy notification delays since iOS 10.2.1. I opened several tickets with the Outlook app team. They finally acknowledge there is a problem.

Go into the Outlook app settings and click on Help. Log another ticket for if it you can.
Done.

How that works as I'm trying to make a call to landlines while on PAYG with zero credit and call is not growing through
I'm not entirely sure of the setup you're referring to, but wifi calling requires that you have available minutes on your cellular carrier. Its a complement to cellular calling, not a replacement. At least here in the US, you are assessed usage minutes just like you would be if your call was directly transmitting to a cell tower.

This is the way my battery goes

Two things I've found.

1) My battery is taking a beating today. No extra usage beyond my normal, and by mid afternoon it was down to about 30%. Usually it's still way above 50%. Only one full day of usage for the new build, but that jumped out at me.

2) Calendar on my iPhone was buggy this afternoon. When scrolling back one month into January and clicking on a date, it kept jumping back up to February on that date. Did it repeatedly. However, later this evening, it appears to be functioning correctly.

Haven't noticed any thing else to report. Feedback reports being sent in.

Interesting reads on the Battery Setting panel. I've got one of my own, having checked a few minutes ago. I'm seeing 73% usage in the past 24 hours and 41% in the past several days of usage by the Feedly app - but I haven't used that app in 3 weeks and it's not "open" or in the background. I use Newsify, which also shows up in my panel results. :scratches head:

More head scratching. I've been blocked in at a job site by a landslide for the past 48 hours, the highway is closed. That iPhone has been on a charger full-time for about those 48 hours - there shouldn't be any real battery life being reported. You'll see that it's still on a charger…

I wonder if it can be the notification of the app. But I'm not sure.

Notifications for that app are disabled, I did check. I'm still wondering why it showed up in the Battery panel when my iPhone has been solely on a charger, the same argument for any of the other apps being landlocked by that aforementioned landslide. Cheers.

Psh, that's a feature. /s
Have you tried a hard reset, then charging back to 100% and taking the phone off the charger again?

No kidding.

Yes... been there, done that. I have the T-shirt. Definitely not the end of the world... just another annoyance of running beta software...

Oh I see but what's the advantage of Wifi calling then?

It allows you to make calls in areas of limited or no cellular coverage provided you have a wifi connection. My office, for example, has horrible cellular signal strength. Normally, I would not be able to place / receive calls. However, with wifi calling enabled, I can do so.

Anybody facing issue in 10.3 beta 2 where even if you don't use the phone, the usage and standby time shows same? This seems to be draining the battery a lot faster. I have an iPhone 6s

Yes. Hard reset device and then fully charge it back up. It has resolved that issue for me at least.

On my 6splus battery life was shocking on pb 1, now on pb 2 , thought it had been fixed when i woke up to 5% drain, then before my eyes it dropped from 45% to 27%. So guessing it hasn't been fixed.
Yes. It is not. I could even see battery drain from 60% to 30% in 30 seconds. Apple remote diagnostic shows there is no issue of my battery. I have completed the restore. Waiting for the result.
Think might have to reset my phone tonight as its red hot too when charging (and warm when using) never like this.

Does anyone know if i wipe it via itunes and set up as new phone if it will still be on the beta? or if it downloads the newest alpha version.
Actually, you cannot wipe it via iTunes because iTunes cannot download/check latest beta software. You must use iOS device feature to erase and restore.

Add me as well. I have an iPhone 6s Plus.

But it would be a bug if battery usage data is removed each time removing phone from charging cable.

Anyone experience a bug whereby the list of apps in Settings just disappears? This refers to the main page's user app settings, and not the battery usage bug, which is already reported.

Fwiw, battery life has been stellar for me on my 7. Both betas 1 and 2. Def better than the last couple rounds of betas (10.2.something).

Also really enjoying the smoothness of everything. Presumably thanks to the new file system.

Haven't really encountered any major bugs to speak of. I can handle the black splash screen for a microsecond when entering the settings app in exchange for such fluidity everywhere else and battery life. Sitting at the end of the night with 50% battery remaining after 4.5 hours use and 16.5 hours standby. 45 mins or so of Google Maps navigation, handful of pictures, a couple 20 minute phone calls, lots of Reddit surfing, dozens of push emails, texting, some YouTube videos, little Spotify. The usual.

the black screen when opening apps is still there!

Yes it's still there but it's less present than the beta 1
[doublepost=1486629981][/doublepost]Anyone know how to fix this issue with the battery indicator ?
I have no difference between the battery usage and the standby...

Well that's right. It is a bug on your device when no Infos appear after 8 hours.
But it's not a bug when you just unplugged your phone at 100%. The apps will appear after an hours of use or so.

I am going to restore my phone ios 10.2.1. The battery life has been horrendous on 10.3 Beta 2 for me. I think iphone 7 users are getting better battery life on beta 2. But i am on a 6s, it's beyond terrible. 6 hours and my phone went from 92% to 22 percent.
