I don't get why everyone always follows the battery usage on every beta. It's a fools errand as there are processes and logs in the betas that aren't in the final builds. It's a waste of time and clogs these, otherwise, useful threads.

It does seem to be getting a bit extreme. It would actually be better for all involved if there were a separate thread for battery-related discussion of the betas. Those who want battery info would then have a dedicated thread where everything is in one place and they can easily refer back and compare, while those who are interested in the OS feature changes/enhancements/bugs would have a thread that wasn't half-filled with people posting individual data on battery performance.

I finally jumped onto 10.3 beta wagon (iphone6s+). I must say i'm impressed with the stability.

2 things I noticed apart from visible ones :

Fleksy keyboard finally works as expected without any stutters. This drove me crazy for months and I never thought fix will come from Apple.

This one might be physological one. I think apps live in memory for longer periods they are not easily ejected from memory. This can be the result of apfs optimization where the used space is reduced thou.

Because battery issues may be a bug? my 6s plus dropped 30% in 2 mins after picking it up from over night. Just reinstalled the beta IPSW and didn't restore and now drops around 10. still not great but kind of expected for a beta, when before it was a bit too much. I know what you mean about people obsessing over it though :)

iPhone 7.

4 hours use and 13.5 hours standby and still almost 50%. Not that bad

I had very similar stats last night when I put my 6 on it's charger. A little over 4 hours of use, 14 hours of standby and 42% remaining.

Did you notice that the pictures taken with the iPhone 7 Plus are worse? They look washed, especially on the skin. I think it's JPEG compression. It's very bad!

Anyone else notice that Bluetooth audio cuts out a lot more often now? AirPods and Bluetooth in the car cut out much more often now where they never used to.

I've noticed this too. Instagram used to drive me nuts when it would refresh the whole app when I switched back to it.

Now in Beta 2, it works how you would expect it to (for the most part).

I think its an IOS 10 BETA issue. it started for me on BETA 1 and remains in BETA 2. I even tried using the IOS Mail app though the behavior is not exactly the same I get delayed messages etc...

I switched to using the Gmail app instead now for the time being. My e-mails arrive instantly and there is no send delay either like there used to be in the Outlook app since I noticed the impaired functionality.

I'm having really good battery life on this beta. Better than anything I've had on any software yet. I used to have to plug in my 7+ at least once a day to make it to the evening time but now I can make it all day and only get down to 20% or so. I had even bought a battery case and now it's almost not needed. Very happy about this.

same here, i left work with 58 % on my iPhone 7 Plus today. It used to be down to around 30 % at the time, let alone my 6 which would have already been on the charger like twice ^^

I'm going to do that also. I can't remember what I hated so much about the Gmail app that made me switch to outlook in the first place.

I am not getting new mail notification sounds although the Badge app icons and Notification Center is showing the details of new mails as expected.
Notification sounds for Messages, Reminders etc are coming as expected.

Yes, absolutely noticed this with Beta 2. A little frustrating as that was a recurring issue since 10.0 that I thought was fixed in 10.3 beta 1 based on my experience. I know it's a beta, but going on the wrong direction with that issue. Yes, I've reported it.

I'm having that issue with my 7 Plus on 10.2.1

Anyone else noticing issues with Spotlight? Searching for apps constantly fails with no results for known matching apps. Also, spotlight app suggestions include recently deleted apps and sometimes fails to show.

The previous beta seemed smoother and more stable to me. The only improvement for me in this build is the google sync fix.

Any body noticed that from ios 10.2.1 final till now on 10.3 beta 2, there is problem with playing videos on apple tv with or without mirroring mode! I tried with my friend iPhones which they are on 10.2.1 too and they have the problem like me! I test this on apple tv 3 and 4 and they act the same! Apps like infuse cannot playback videos on apple tv even in mirroring mode or background play back witch is more important.

Anyone with same useage as standby times , I reset all settings on my 6s plus and seems to have fixed it

Edit

Battery is still shocking though pretty much in free fall not sure if rogue app or just the beta

Beta 1 was much better in that regard, my Bluetooth problems while using Bluetooth earphones, including the AirPods, had been fixed, but now I'm having some sound skips, not nearly as much as in iOS 10 - 10.2.1, but beta 2 was definitely was a step back.

I've had a big battery drain after the 50% of battery with my 6s plus.

I think that I will go back to iOS 10.2.1 this night

To be honest iOS 10.3 does nothing. It brought only APFS and minor improvements. Still nothing changed in performance. Hopefully they'll do everything on time. Maybe we are about one month before apple keynote

Seems like various others are seeing more improvements.
