I think it might be quite difficult to tell just 40 minutes after the release.

I sincerely believe that anyone who asks for battery life information within 12 hours of a release should be banned.

This update has been out for about 50 minutes. Assume 10 mins for those with the fastest connections to have downloaded and installed it. How could anyone have any sense of this in 40 minutes?

EASY. I dropped 1% in 30 minutes, so that means 2% per hour so 50 hour battery life. Yes, much better!

This is a reasonable and logical update, instead of craving for banning someone who asks for such details so early.

Battery life is way worse.. dropped around 50% in the last 2 days with heavy usage after updating to this beta. I also had one day with a 70% drop in about 10mins and then it dropped 40% again in only 2 minutes. Don't update if you need great battery life!

I really hope this sorts out the battery drain issue I've been having on my 7 Plus. Even after a full DFU restore (the proper one where the screen says black and iTunes only gives the restore option) and set up as new phone I was still losing 10% overnight whilst the phone wasn't doing anything!

Toggle airplane mode on and off with a 30sec wait. I had the same issue on Three UK which this fixed.
