yes, those are literally the inverse of each other which you can see by 're-inversing' them.

Spooktacular?I don't know how I feel about a Halloween theme. :-/
If Tweetbot can do dark mode, Apple can do it. I don't see how people think it's difficult.
I'm not an expert but I believe because apps use UI elements from Apple , a switch can make the app load the dark version instead of a light version instead.I don't see how a simple toggle can change multiple apps theme instantly.

Although Apple could simply add a toggle and have it make all UI elements black, that just won't work. You'll end up with a lot of apps that simply don't look right/good, or as @Xgm541 mentioned it just won't work for some apps. It might work on some apps, but I just don't think that approach would scale.I'm not an expert but I believe because apps use UI elements from Apple , a switch can make the app load the dark version instead of a light version instead.
Many apps use their own UI elements though so it won't switch those.
I don't know if it's simple or not (and pointing to one app's implementation is not sufficient to generalize that it's not difficult ). But this is likely not about "hard" or "easy". It's about Apple's product road map. If they aren't intending to do this now ... or ever ... no amount of wishcasting is going to make it happen.
I would be willing to bet that fewer than 10% of iOS users actually care about this feature, at least enough to petition Apple about it. There may be a fair number of others for whom it would be desirable. Apple is a company of finite resources (including time) and they likely have a roadmap extending out at least 5 years. They'll get to it when they want to, not when you want them to.As any other company they should listen to their customers petitions if they want to progress in the right way .it's a must in any company, enterprise or whatever
He meant 2018It may be just me, but I'm starting to think 10.3 isn't coming on January 10.
Oh,...yeah! Makes total sense now! Lol....He meant 2018
More than wrong. So I guess sonny dickskin was wrong?!?!
ThanksThere is on other smart devices, why do you rule it out for apple's?

They published a rumor, which didn't quite fully come true...although it seems like there is "theater mode" for watchOS and 10.3 beta did come out, just a bit later than what was mentioned in the rumor. As far as rumors go it's not exactly a completely made up one, and comes from someone that has some proven record of inside information that held up.I wonder if all the Mac pubs who quoted this one person will maybe next time not publish news from just one source.
Yeah, right.
There was a Theatre Mode included in iOS 10.3 but it only makes the Apple Watch not turn on when you lift your arm.
