Music app drains battery a lot.
Seen the battery go from 34% to 31% in 15 seconds.
I was reading lyrics

I think there is a lot going on in the background with iOS 10 right now, so battery life will appear pretty rough in general. Hence why some are seeing their devices run hot.

Unsure if anyone has posted this yet, but Activity now includes workouts you have done without the watch on.

So if like me, you're a cyclist and use Garmin and Strava to record your rides, it'll now include the time you've spent on them. Presuming you have to link Strava with Health though.

Finally!

In any app, if you open notification center from top until bottom, it show notifications. If you stop to slide your finger just at 1cm from top, it shows spotlight. Very nice addition, it means spotlight in every app.
In home this is different: only notification center when you slide from the top and complete spotlight if you slide from the middle to bottom of the screen.

Install iOS 10 to see how it was on the 6s, for the first beta it's pretty fast but of course it lags, I liked some changes but somethings I feel like it shoulda been left alone like the health app, control center should cover full screen and it's annoying to set the brightness cuz it keeps switching to the second page. I understand the lock screen now it's better.

Didn't see it in first post. Mail now allows you to add attachments within the app. And you can do so from other places besides iCloud Drive like Dropbox, google, etc.

RIP Game Center. They've finally ditched it.

It's still available through Settings, probably slowly phasing it out just hinting to devs to stop supporting it as it might cause the App to crash if it references Game Center and it isn't there. (For sure if the developers don't treat the reference as an optional)
[doublepost=1466187188][/doublepost]Just a hint, don't swipe down for search (not notification center) in B1, it has some leftovers from iOS 9 or incomplete implementations for iOS 10 that prevent you from going back to the home screen without hitting the home button.

Here's a bug I found. For some reason, when I opened the music app and started to play a song, all I head was a bunch of fuzz, like a radio. The song was still playing, but it's like there was a filter over the song or something. I tried closing and reopening, tried without headphones, tried with different headphones, still was fuzzy. Also tried going to multiple songs and playlists, but that didn't change it either. Finally solved it by restarting the phone.

I read somewhere that Game Center isn't being phased out, the app was just removed and now developers will be responsible for adding any UI like leaderboards themselves. Game Center as a service is still there, though. I believe they even showed as an added feature on one of the watchOS 3 slides.

I'll take your word for it then, I haven't done enough research on it to verify any other alternatives. It will be nice not having Xing Xao with the status "Pretty butterflies" or some girl with a picture that makes her look like she's having trouble with her teenage hormones around guys hitting me up every 3 minutes to be my friend. Go away I'm too old for you to be my friend and I know that you are just one of my free app advertisers wanting a better look at my data.

Ha, yeah, I got a few of those too. Also, just did a quick search and of all places, I read it here. Here's a link to the article:

I think it's probably better off this way. I am confused on how one might go about adding friends now but just having it as a service takes care of everything for the most part. I'd much rather have their first party system in place than how things were before with several third-party game networks battling for supremacy. I think that I saw a poster say they used it for game recommendations but I've never done that and now that Categories is back in the App Store that should take care of that. It would be nice if Apple provided game devs with some assets or something for integrating leaderboards and that sort of thing into their games. Maybe they have even, that I'm not sure about. Haven't scanned all the documentation yet.

There are lot of bugs in iOS 10 battery is easily draining its coming like 3 hrs when we have 100 percent charge and my Apple Watch is also not connecting properly and after we disconnect a call it sounds like we are in loud speaker..even we turn off the auto updates using cellular data it's automatically updating when we connect with cellular data

More importantly than game center features, I'd like to see them consolidate the App Icon so you only have to post 1 large version and it automatically resizes them to fit all devices at the first build where they are included. You need about 17 icon assets just for one app, a bit crazy if you ask me, really sucks if you don't have a designer to do all of this stuff for you once they are done with the core app assets.

one feature i do like is the need to press the home button when unlocking the phone. it used to do my head in when i'd use Apple Pay and the phone would unlock instead

A tip I learnt is that if you hold your iPhone next to the contactless reader without doing anything, the screen will automatically come up with Apple Pay and all you need to do is put your fingerprint to authorize it down!

I did not know that. Neat
