Found a new bug (dunno if its just me though) Can't toggle apps in cellular data. As soon as I exit the screen all the apps reset and have access to my cellular data again. Anyone know of a fix? Just asking cause I remember this bug happened in one of the older iOS versions.

was still thinking is it worth to update on my daily use iphone 6s plus? tempted to try but seeing so many cons and pros here.....

I'd be very cautious here. This beta mostly works fine and most apps are ok but that not to say that some breaking change won't be introduced in a later one, even in the public beta.If not for the fact that I'm (unusually) working from home for a few weeks I wouldn't have done this on my phone, though I would have probably still done my iPad out of curiousity since I can "replace" that with my Mac temporarily if it all goes wrong.

Now you can take photos, YES EVEN LIVE PHOTOS without having your music playback interrupted with the 6S. It's these littlest of the littlest things that eventually make a great change for the end user! Great stuff Apple!

So you think that the workflow should be made worse in all cases of functioning hardware in favor of efficiency on broken hardware? That's fairly obviously absurd and not about to happen for Eason I'd hope would be obvious.

Short answer yes. Make better hardware then it wont be a freaking problem.

TouchID still unlocks if you've spent less than a few seconds on the lock screen but, testing it it seems that's only if you wake it using the home button in the first place. Regardless, if your home button is broken you'll need assistive touch enabled as it's not possible to operate an iPhone without a home button in any meaningful way. So, touchID -> assistive touch home until you get your hardware repaired or replaced

If pressing the home button unlocks it and I can then touch the touchid, to show the springboard, I would expect the same behavior from the lock button but it's not.

Says it all really. As for "make hardware work better", hardware will always fail. That's what hardware does, sooner or later.

If pressing the home button unlocks it and I can then touch the touchid, to show the springboard, I would expect the same behavior from the lock button but it's not.

And now that you know that I imagine you're perfectly capable of adapting to this tiny change.

How is your experience with the music app?

I don't like many things:
-Starting from the huge font.
-When I have a song playing and wanna hear to more songs from that artist I can't jump to the artist from the song but I have to search the artist manually
-when I get to an artist I saved in my music I can't jump to all the discography in the Apple Music
But I have to search the artist from Apple Music tab to see all the discography.

Let me know

I was hoping for beta 2 today but I don't think so :(
yeah wasn't. I have had every beta since iOS 3 and they fall on a pretty reliable 2 week schedule. occasionally will be 3 weeks, but that's usually when its closer to be coming out out officially. i remember an update that came one week after first one but it was to fix a major issue with the first beta.

nope and I use Carplay many times per day

Plus one on this. Very curious how well they still talk. AirDrop, Handoff, ICloud syncing Etc.

I have two Mac's running El Capitan and no issues with handoff or syncing photos etc.

Not sure if it is an iOS 10 or watchOS 3 beta issue (or both of course), but when I add a Modular watch face from the Watch app on my iPhone it is added to that list 'My Faces' and that new tab menu. However, when I close the app, from App Switcher as well, and open it again, the watch face is gone. Does not occur with other watch faces, making this a strange issue.

I've already sent a bug report to Apple, but was wondering if anyone else have had this so far??

I don't use handoff but iMessage, FaceTime, calls-from-phone, 2-factor authentication, Photos etc all sync across all devices as usual. In other words, all the iCloud stuff works as expected (iPhone 10 beta 1, iPad 9.3.3 beta 3, Macbook 10.11.6 beta 3)
