I'm doing this right now as I type this, crossing fingers it works and that I don't get an error.

Edit: I was able to update manually using itunes by installing Xcode 8 beta on my Mac and doing the option + check for update trick on itunes using the beta 4 ispw :)
How did you installed Xcode 8 ? I keep getting this error whenever I try to open the .xip file : The operation couldn't be completed. cpio read error: Undefined error: 0

I didn't have that error, it installed just fine. took like 10 minutes to install tho.

Two things I noticed:
In messages the long press (or 3D Touch) no longer pops open the window for full screen animations, etc. when sending to non iOS 10 phones. Not sure about iOS 10 recipients as I don't have any one to send to. iPhone 6.

In photos you can zoom in MUCH further when viewing a photo. Not sure if this is new to b4 or its in all betas.

Okay, I found the problem. I'm running OS X 10.11.4, never bothered to upgrade to 10.11.5 which is the minimal requirement for Xcode 8. I will upgrade my Mac and report back.

EDIT : Lol, I just noticed we are already at 10.11.6 now.

Found a bug. When on conversation view with someone on the Messages.app, when you hit the camera icon to send a pic, the live viewfinder preview of the camera for quick pic is just showing a black screen for me, not the actual camera.

Edit: Oh jeez! the camera app itself isn't working, just shows a black screen. restarting phone didn't fix it either. :(

Edit 2: oh weird, had to swipe left and select video, then swipe back to camera, now it works again. #betalife

Welcome screen for control center and iOS 8 wallpaper makes a return. Emojis are shinier too now

Oh god. Those look like MSN emojis. What happened to flat

Tell me those Emojis don't look like those 3D ones teachers used years ago. Ugh it's so ugly!!!

They look like the ugly ones i used to have on "Instant Messengers" as in AIM and MSN back in 2005 or so. No me gusta nada

Someone on Reddit managed to install the Beta 4 from iOS 9 by downloading the public beta profile, installing iOS 10 Public Beta 2, then remove the public beta profile and download the developer profile, and finally install iOS 10 Beta 4 from the software update panel in the Settings app.

Seems like a lot of hassle if you ask me so I'm downloading Xcode 8 right now and I will install the .ipsw with iTunes.
Or you could wait about 24-48 hours for the public beta to come out.

Not sure what you mean by the messages thing. I'm able to long press and get to the bubble/full screen animations on my iPhone 6.

Zooming seems the same as it's always been and no different in beta 4.

Doesn't work with SwiftKey's emoji keyboard and I don't want to install the stock one and have one more to switch through (already have a great handwriting one for the pencil). Hopefully they'll open that up to 3rd parties if they haven't already (and swiftkey adopts it!)
Works with Google keyboard.
