Why would you do that? This is exactly the kind of thing that gets reset often during beta periods, and likely will again before the GM.

People just don't understand betas.
Thank you for telling me,I thought the beta would be perfect!
Sarcasm off: I know it is beta software and therefore there are bugs and nothing is for sure. I love testing new software. And to get the full potential I have to use this feature as well. That's not a mistake!

Not sure what you mean by the messages thing. I'm able to long press and get to the bubble/full screen animations on my iPhone 6.

Zooming seems the same as it's always been and no different in beta 4.

I've restarted twice and it does not work for me. Worked in b3 for me. Are you trying to send to a iOS 10 or 9 user?

Are you saying it's the same as other 10 betas? Because it's definitely much more of a zoom compared to iOS 9

Works with Google keyboard.

Thanks. I haven't used the Google one and I'd like to clarify a couple of things?

When you say it works do you mean that: -

- The Google keyboard has a built in emoji keyboard that works without having to have the emoji keyboard installed in settings?
- Does the orange replacement thing when you switch to emoji work, the live suggestions of emoji when you type, say, "cake" or both?

Thanks again! :)

The old Notification Center behavior is back - you don't slide to reveal the content (like in beta 1-3), the content moves with your finger as it did in previous iOS versions.

The messages. Are you saying you can't even access the bubble/screen options? Please clarify.

Might be more compared to iOS 9 (don't have two phones to side by side to compare.) But it's definitely not more zoom compared to all iOS 10 betas. (Tested with an insect photo that I know how far I was able to zoom in on previously and it's the same today on b4.)

Nothing is actually faster. The transitions have improved making everything feel more fluid. In fact I think app open times are slightly slower!

The Google keyboard has the predictive emoji without having the Apple emoji keyboard installed.

The orange emoji replacement does not work in the Google keyboard. You still need the Apple emoji keyboard installed and switch to it to see the replacements

I'm absolutely convinced that the MS Office apps at least are opening faster for me in this beta. I don't just mean the animations but the actual time until I can type something.

Thanks. Really appreciate you taking the time to check that out. I think I'll try to find an email address or contact for SwiftKey to see of they'll implement one or both of these.

To everyone that could not update from iOS 9 via OTA, it works now, I just checked for updates and it found the Beta 4. Great news as I was downloading the .ipsw which would take like 2 hours to download. :0

That makes no sense. "The transitions have improved". Yes, they are faster as are app launches. Period.
Transitions play with our mind to make us think apps are opening faster. The smoother the transition, the more our minds are tricked.
Apple has always used this trick well compared to Android which make people think those phones are a stuttering mess. Some of them are but Apple can mask their stutter with some well timed transitions.

This feels like dumb censorship just for ***** and grins on their end, or to push an anti-gun agenda.
Yes, that's censorship, right.

Or it seems some people are actually seeing actual faster launches of at least some apps.

It definitely feels smoother than B3. But I can't say it's faster. Some apps have seen a performance boost with their own updates especially some of the Google Apps.
Either way I have no complaints since B3 was solid for me and this seems no worse!

Office was not updated either between the last time I used it (yesterday) or the last time ios was updated (this morning)
