OMG you are one of THOSE people. The "animations are too slow" people. FFS get off it. The animations are perfectly fine. I really think this is a personal problem of yours. The phone and OS are fine.

It mostly stems from people these days wanting instant gratification. No one seems to be able to stand waiting fractions of a second anymore. Soon they will all complain the iPhone doesn't do what they want, before they know they want it. :)

I did find a small bug this morning in the browsers which annoyed me and failed to let me do my internet banking because of it, filling in password box 4 I typed and it jumped to 5 so wouldn't allowed me to fill in that box at all...

I strongly disagree. This is the first iOS that I find takes away from my user experience, and doesn't improve it in any way from the prior version.

iOS 10 is cluttered and the design elements are a strong deviation from what iOS has always been known for: simple, elegant, and intuitive aesthetic.

Then I guess it's time for you to move to Android?

Well everyone is free to their own opinion, but ios 10 solves many things that I hated about ios in the past, and I feel like there are a ton of new features and enhancements.

I wonder what it is I'm not seeing. Outside of what you mentioned in the OP (which I personally didn't find useful), what features and enhancements are you referring to?

I really wanted to like it....I just don't see an improvement in my usability over iOS9. In fact I prefer iOS9. It's a cleaner user interface and does everything I need just fine without all the clutter.

I'll bite. What is "all the clutter?" you're referring to?

iMessages is a complete mess. They threw every random gimmick into the app. Notifications are huge bubbles that are not pleasant at all. Those 2 things are what I use the most and they injected awkward design elements into both.

So "all the clutter" is entirely optional features in iMessage and the shape of notifications. Gotcha

You're entitled to your opinion but your entirely disproportionate response let's me know just how seriously I should take it.

Lol entirely disproportionate? Try not to be so sensitive when someone disagrees with you.

Yes, excellent, try to imply I'm mad when I asked you what you meant by "all the clutter" and all you had was the shape of a bubble and features you don't need to use. "Lol" indeed

Yes, they may have thrown the 'kitchen sink' at Messages, but at least it doesn't get in your face too much. You can still simply use the app like you did in prior versions. You just have more options, if you choose to use them. I actually like the way the new attach photo button works—very handy.

As for the Music app ... it has a MUCH better layout than iOS9. As a person who only listens my own music (on-board or home share), the new app is easier to navigate than the prior version.

But then again, that is just my opinion. ;-)

"All I had" lol didn't realize you wanted a line by line breakdown. Forgive me for not unleashing an essay of all my issues.

Compared to the simple design elements of ios9? You bet it's cluttered.

You could always return to iOS 6 :p:

I would agree with you on beta 1; but the new quick replies on non 3D Touch devices is a lot better than iOS 9 and has made managing notifications much more present and enjoyable. For example, I can stay in a message thread after quick replying, and I can also get several options when dismissing a calendar event. Very useful stuff, and I feel that is where iOS 10 really excels ; 3D Touch. I just hope that Apple still remembers all of use without the 3D Touch capability, such as every iPad but with how they managed quick reply i see the upcoming beta to be quite exciting :)

iOS 10 has certainly lost the intuition of previous versions. So many of the features in Messages are hidden and not easy to find. Not a problem for someone like me, but for a basic user, that is an issue.

Today when i ended navigation from the lock screen i almost screamed out in joy. Later i discovered some new music from a great playlist i would have never found in the old terrible music app. I later checked the news from the lockscreen, checked my calendar from the lock screen, and replyed to some texts without unlocking. If you think none of that is useful then Im not sure what else they can do for you.
