I did a search to see if this has been brought up before, but when I added my cards to Apple Pay today on the GM, the text message from my Chase Credit Card came through and auto populated into the field without me even having to open the message.

This has always annoyed me about text message authentication, even though its a simple step, so this was a very welcomed little function.

Has done his since early 11 betas.

So I do know that you can’t turn wifi and Bluetooth off from control center. However the only concern I have is how do I know when it is connected to a device since it always stays dark as if it’s connected in iOS 10. Any way to figure this out?
Anybody guys??

Anybody guys??

You mean in the status bar it stays dark? Yeah that's dumb and I and at least one other person here reported. Mine got closed as a duplicate and I never heard from the other member. Thinking it might be part of Apple's "don't micro manage your radios" kick. While I agree with that principle it'd be nice to see if you're currently connected or not at a glance.

It looks like some apps are being updated today to support iOS 11, and even AR Kit. It looks like Carrot Weather uses AR kit to show off the weather forecast.

Nice! I've seen an app or two slip through a day or two before general release in past years. Hopefully this isn't an aberration and others will be allowed to release their updates. I am really excited to see what week be done with storage providers in Files.

I just updated Carrot but I don't think the other inhabitants of the train I'm on for the next 4 hours would appreciate me waving my phone around at them.

Battery life is worse than iOS 10. Smoothness is slightly less but tolerable. You will definitely notice the home button delay though. It takes longer for an app to quit when you click the home button and you can no longer stop the app from loading midway if you click on one accidentally.
Simply not true! Don't believe this person. I along with many, many others are very happy with the performance and battery life of iOS 11 GM. Try iOS 11 and if you don't like it after letting it stabilize for 24 hours then simply go back to iOS 10.3.3 (while its still available). Keep in mind that if you want to compare iOS 11 to iOS 10 then compare the equivalent releases. I remember quite well all the bashing that Radon gave iOS 10 when it was first released. iOS 11 will certainly mature as did iOS 10. But for me and many others iOS 11 GM is a solid release, well worth installing now to begin testing your specific setup before the final release on September 19th.

A widget isn't considered "using" the app, so it can't update the weather. You must have it set to Always if you want your weather widget to update correctly.
What’s strange, is I’m having the exact opposite. I was having trouble getting the widget to update. So I changed the setting to only when in use. The widget now updates. I did this before I came here and saw these posts. Very strange. ‍♂️

You call this good battery life for a 7 Plus with low-mid use on WiFi?

Performance is NOT on the level of iOS 10.3.3. Carry on.

Or, more likely, listening to Carrot's very snarky ocular sensor!

Looking forward to trying it. The Carrot dev is always somehow both on the cutting edge but making things work beautifully and be both fun and useful.

Not really useful if you don't do them at the same time unfortunately.

I will repost tonight.

Big bug still present - trying to open the timer or stopwatch from control center while the phone is locked results in an immediate crash of the app the moment it’s opened.
Mine does not crash, or are you talking about the nano second back to lock screen before the timer opens? Meh, non issue. certainly not a "BIG" bug

Battery life seems pretty much the same for me. 24 hours after charging I'm on 67% (7 Plus).

There's an occasional stutter when flicking between screens but I used to get this on 10.3.3, too.

Sorry, but I'm not seeing this home button delay thing. It seems the same as 10.3.3 to me (but, to be honest, I never really paid much attention to how fast closing an app was - it's just not important to me).

The last thing you mention is not happening for me - I can close an app with the home button when it's only half-opened. Just tried it with the App Store app - I tap the app and then immediately press the home button and it closes immediately before it has filled the screen.

Interesting, I have mine set to when using the app and when i slide over to the widget it is current.

I’ve got the weather widget update issue too

It’s now stucked on morning details. It’s not updating whether the settings are in use or always.

Hope it’ll fixed soon. And it’s more possible to see a different build on Tuesday

With iOS 11 GM my Apple Pay history transactions don’t show up. (Only the most recent which disappears once another Apple Pay transaction occurs)

This happens with different credit cards from different banks. So it has to be an issue with iOS 11...

Anyone else notice this?

You may not believe that guy, but I do. I’m having the same issues.

No, it fully crashes. Definitely a bug, but (apparently) not widely spread.

My arrow won’t go away though. Ever. The weather arrow is on 24/7.
Oh yeah mine does do that. its on and off here and there. Sometimes solid and sometimes the outline. Used to, the outline stayed if you had, say a reminder set for when you get to x. Or when I leave home, etc. Sure you don't have something like that set up?

I have the home button delay when unlocking on the 7Plus. So I can only imagine the 6s.
Nope not there on the 6s. Only the 7 series seem to have this issue. Guess because its a software "button".

I'm talking about unlocking. Its present on multiple devices that I have tested (ranging from iPhone 6 and later, and iPads). There is something wrong with "rest to unlock".
