A widget isn't considered "using" the app, so it can't update the weather. You must have it set to Always if you want your weather widget to update correctly.
Not true.

I use multiple weather apps, though not the stock one, never have any location service set to “Always” (only “While Using”) and the widgets update properly and begin using my location as soon as I swipe over to see them. I don’t even need the app to be in the App Switcher.

Update: Just redownloaded the stock Weather app. Set it to use location “Only While Using,” added the widget and even cleared the app from my App Switcher. It updates properly each time and checks for my location. For those of you having issues, maybe try deleting the app (I know it doesn’t actually delete) and then “redownload” from the App Store and set to “Only While Using” for location and see if it fixes your issues.

I'm sorry but I don't have the courage/time to go through all pages .

Just one question : Is it possible to change app store countries ? I have 2  ID's , one for iCloud and another for iTunes-App Store .I use 2 app stores and switch between them for app updates .

Is it still possible with iOS 11 ??? Thank you in advance .

Can I just clean install or do I need a developer account I remember back then the gold master didn't need a dev account
Yes no dev acct required.

Shouldn’t it work on GM too? It’s the same as the Final version after all.
Apple wont let Apps for iOS 11 be released yet until iOS releases to GA.

I don’t think the 3D Touch on icons lags so much as it just requires less pressure now. I tried pushing less harshly and it seems much smoother that way. Just a thought/observation.
There is a setting for the amount of pressure for 3D. Maybe yours changed.

Alright so I’m new to this being on my iPhone. I have a hallowed our location arrow in my status bar constantly from weather. This never happened in iOS 10. Can I make it go away? I wanted to keep weather to “always” because of my Apple Watch.
That states the following:
"A hollow arrow indicates that an item may receive your location under certain conditions." So most likely normal. I get it every now and then too.

The stock weather app is leaving a hollow location services arrow icon on for me constantly. In location services it is on the “Always” setting. Anyone else having this issue?

Also my Maps Destinations widget keep asking to set Home or Work which is already set, rather than showing me the travel times to those destinations. Anyone else experiencing this?
yes see above.

The home button delay is not tiny. It makes my 6 feel faster than my 7. If this is not fixed it’s ruined the experience for those on older devices.
um the 6 IS older than the 7 so what you mean ruining experience for older devices? If the 6 seems faster than the 7 then it seems that older devices are improved!

My arrow won’t go away though. Ever. The weather arrow is on 24/7.

I'm not impressed with the GM. I did not test any of the betas, but this just runs poorly on my 6s. I get a lot of stutters when opening and closing apps and there is a home button delay to wake the screen or to go back to the home screen from an app. This is pretty sad. I'm thinking about switching back to iOS 10.

I have the home button delay when unlocking on the 7Plus. So I can only imagine the 6s.

My alarm works as it should. 3D Touch the clock icon and the option comes right up. (iPhone 7)

yes, but that is different from 3D touching from control center. In the home screen you are toggling the whole app itself, while on control center, every function (alarm, chronometer, etc.) is one different buttong, that's why youre getting teh vibrations for the alarms, there is no 3D touch options there in control center.[/QUOTE]

OK, maybe I'm not understanding then. From control center if I 3D touch the clock/timer icon I get an option to set a timer for up to 2 hours. From the home screen icon of the clock a 3D touch gives me multiple options, set alarm, stopwatch or timer. Is this how it's supposed to work?

It's not lagging because it's slow. It's lagging because it's waiting to see if you're double clicking before beginning the animation.

What? I’m talking about unlocking the device. The rest to unlock is really buggy. On both my 7Plus and Air2. I’m fully aware about the app closing thing.

Rest to unlock only works half the time and requires a second click of the home button on both devices. Clearly a bug.

Ah. Thought you were talking about the home button thing. My bad!

In beta 10, I noticed my iPhone 7's battery life would drain quicker when watching tv shows in TV app, playing games, or watching videos in Safari. Is battery life better for these things in the GM?

Here it’s my 7plus battery life, from 6:40 (unplug) to 9:01 PM, first 6 hours and 3 minutes listening to music with my AirPods, then normal usage, a few photos taken and some AppStore updates, flash light, and anchor, what do you think?

Looks about right since I am getting over 10 hours of usage on mines too and I am a heavy user mostly on calls.

Please stop with this silly justification. I never had any problems using double click on iOS 10. The home button is performing exactly the same as how it would perform on iOS 10 if home button click speed is set to slower. I confirmed this.

I just updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 11 and it’s now having the same problem as does my Air 2. iOS 10 is instant. At least admit the bug exists instead of justifying it.

I mean quitting the app and the overall feel of the OS on older phones using iOS 10 is better than the newer devices on iOS 11.

I suspect that the A11 on the new iPhone is so much more powerful than the A10 Fusion it’s brute forcing its way through the inefficiencies and Apple May Not fix it.

Has anyone else here had issues with bluetooth cutting out when wearing airpods? I just jumped in on the ios 11 on the last beta last week and submitted a bug report. I have an SE and it seems like whenever it's in my pocket if I cover any portion of the top of the phone it cuts out the sound completely. I never had this issue with ios 10. Wondering if there's some sortof interference I'm not aware of. I have a watch as well and usually keep the case with me.

Yeah, I've had this issue since I got my AirPods, iOS 10 included. It's an intermittent issue, but when it's happening I can't put my phone in my pocket without it cutting in and out every few seconds.
