You people will never be satisfied. EVER. I'm guessing much of your life is a disappointment. I'm running the GM and have zero issues. It's great and I'm very happy with it. There's no lag because I don't measure my happiness in milliseconds. You shouldn't either.

When I long press on an iMessage in Notification Center, I can type out a reply, but usually get randomly kicked into another app after a few seconds. It’s so bizarre. Anyone else have this issue? Has happened multiple times to me.

Erase and restore from iCloud backup fixed it for me a couple of betas ago. Haven’t had a problem since.

So what should system take up? 0? It never showed up on my phone as taking up space on betas 3-10, but now on the GM it says it's taking up 6.24 GB

I use an iPhone 7 with iOS 11 GM

If i have simply one app open, the camera doesn't bug when i launch it on CC and turn in landscape mode.

Thorough iTunes or iPhone settings?

I did an iCloud backup, an Erase all content and settings from the phone settings, and then restored from the iCloud backup.

Haven’t had this happen. Charged phone to 100% before bed. Got up this morning and it was down to 63% charge.

Normally the % doesn’t drop or maybe a 1-2% drop overnight. Nothing obvious in battery usage showing drain.

Oddly, it wasn’t connected to WiFi. When I checked there, it said no internet connection available. So it was on LTE overnight. Odd, because my internet connection was fine and my iPad was connected just fine.

Anyone seen this happen?

Mines been dropping over 10% during the night instead of the normal 1 to 2%. I also have started getting same standby and usage times. Have tried a hard reset to see if that helps.

I reset network settings. Testing it now. Hopefully it solves the issue.

i was able to reproduce it on my 7+ but it was much quicker than what i saw in the video
it just seems like the camera app hasn’t correctly detected the phones orientation before it launches

okay so "updating" from ios 11 GM to 10.3.3 has failed on two diff machines and 2 diff WIFI networks. It doesnt work that process is broken 100% can anyone else replicate that issue?

Did you put your device in DFU mode before attempting the downward "update"?

is anyone else having the issue where you turn off wifi from the control center (so that it is greyed out) then when you lock your device and unlock it again, the wifi symbol is back to blue (searching)? Is this normal or a bug?

Been really happy with the GM. Super smooth on my 7 plus and no issues.

No I did not, I just pugged it in and then hit control and then clicked on update and chose the restore file for 10.3.3

That’s your problem. Put it in DFU mode, do the same control+update, then either restore an iOS 10 backup or start new.

Not DFU mode, it is recovery mode! To put in recovery mode, you will need to power device off then hold down home or volume down while connecting it to iTunes. Do not release hold until iTunes detect device in recovery mode. Hit update, iTunes will download the latest official firmware which is 10.3.3

I did that twice already and both times the updates have failed and I have been forced to reinstall ios 11 and restore from backup which takes hours

From earlier threads I believe that my devices are on par with expected usage. My iPhone 6 (64GB) is using 6.56GB, iPhone 6s (32GB) is using 7.47, and iPad Pro (128GB) is using 8.44GB. When I noticed that I was having the system storage issues on my 6s I tried syncing with iTunes to dump the logs and that only got me down to about 12GB for system. That’s why I ultimately erased my phone and restored.

I am looking forward to installing iOS 11 on my iPad, however I'm kind of doubting if it is wise to do it on Tuesday when it's released to the public. There appears to be quite a few bugs in the GM.

Is it 100% certain that the version they will release on Tuesday is exactly the same as the current GM?

Or will they tweak it further before release?

How has the experience been so far for people running it on iPads?

btw I'll be installing it on a 12.9

So I am not seeing the unidentified persons under the people tag. Sometimes get the updating people tag and sometimes nothing. But i can’t see the unidentified persons. Anybody else with the same issue?

New Bug, Statusbar disappeared

I've had issues since before iOS 11 with the phone not always rendering graphics properly. Usually that involved part of my home screen getting stuck "in" the notifications drop down tray.
