General iOS 11.0 GM Bug Fixes And Changes

Text replacement still isn’t syncing between my iOS devices. It stopped working after upgrading to iOS 10 and still doesn’t work.

Seeing digitizer ("screen") locking up... becoming totally unresponsive... requiring a hard-reboot.


Never saw that on my 7+, but the new 8+ did it several times... returned it to Apple... standing pat with my 7+.

I’ve seen that once on my iPad Air 2. It didn’t completely lock up, but nothing worked other than the dock and once I locked the screen it wouldn’t unlock.
 
Has anyone noticed that turning the camera flash off, not maintains that status forever, it has been like 6 time now that its activated in automatic when I open the camera app, and I never use it to take photos, so I always have it off.

Anyone else having issues with the Facebook messenger app since downloading to iOS 11? Constantly crashes every time I open the app.
 
The Gmail app doesn’t clear the unread badge count on the iOS device where Mail is read as of iOS 11. It will clear the badge count if new mail is read on other devices.

Do you have it installed on your Apple Watch? If so, uninstall from both. Restart both. Reinstall.
 
anyone app store doesn't show update on app anymore. have to manual refresh than will show update if available

Same problem . Apple rulez.
In some apps is show me updated today but is not updated any more.
And apple wont to make cars. Hahaha
 
IOS11 final. Music compilations now completely screwed. Sort by Album now ignores Album field AND Album Artist field. Instead it groups by Artist littering your library with orphans.

Morons.
 
I saw the new iPhone 8 in the Apple Store and the 3D Touch is lagging. I think it's a problem with iOS 11 so don't worry people

Awesome, still nice to see some fundamental alignment errors with UI elements. This one more obvious thanks to the white App Store logo.

I too am noticing this problem on my 7+
 
I was having problems with iOS 11 after initially doing the OTA update. I did a restore in iTunes and everything started working well, but problems are starting to appear again. My phone will not wake at times and when someone calls me, my screen stays blacked out and can't answer the calls.

Mine seems to work as it should. It clears the counts on my iphone 7 with no issue. If I read the mail on my android tablet it will not clear it in the iphone until I open that app. Not sure if that's the same as your issue but I don't see it as a bug on my end. Was the same on IOS 10.

No. Under iOS 10, if I read email in the Gmail app on my iPhone, the badge would clear. Now it won’t under iOS 11. The work around is to go to the web site and mark a thread as unread and then read. That or disable the badge icon, which is what I did.

OK, gottcha, I don't have any issue with it then as it clears just fine. Sometimes I wonder how a bug doesn't affect all users the same. I wonder if it could be tied to something else on your iphone that's not on mine. I also use the yahoo mail app and it works as it should. Good luck with it :)
