Serious question:

How come people like the 3D Touch multitasking so much? Isn’t it easier, faster, and smoother to just double tap the home button? Maybe I’m missing something.

Installed and using it. Waiting to see if:

1. General stability issues are improved
2. Doesn’t keep dropping g corporate WiFi
3. B/t works (more) properly with my vehicle nav system.

Waiting for the Youtube comparisons videos.

Some people feel like double tapping home so much will cause the home button to fail. Personally I think it's easier to just double tap.

It's much useful and faster than double clicking the home button and it has more satisfying feel. You don't have to reach all way up to the back button when you want to ga back to the previous app you can even fast switch between running apps. And what's more important, it's superior to the new gestures on iPhone X. Once you use it, you'll never multitask the same way as you did before.

Correct. As someone with a broken mute switch, I can't wait for an iPhone with no buttons at all, we have CC for that.

Switching between the two most recent apps is better with 3D Touch multitasking because it only requires a single gesture. However, I agree that it is easier to get to the multitasking pane with a double tap on the home button.

I have some issues with WiFi and our phones.

Portrait mode and 4k video mode lag not fixed . Reachability is fixed though.
Hi, do you mean we can pull down for notifications after the screen is down by double tap? Or was there some other issue with reachability that has been fixed now?
