This is the gm because after the installation the welcome screen ask if you want to share analysis data with Apple. In beta this is not an option.
So, great version for iOS 11, no more stutter in most of cases. The only inexplicable thing is how Apple can not fix the calculator bug!!!
Strange in that I did not receive the welcome screen on either of my devices, iPhone 7 Plus or 2017 iPad. Maybe it's because I did a full update install via iTunes? Performance is flawless on both devices so far with no stuttering, lag. etc. The calculator on the iPhone 7 Plus seems fine to me.

No sadly not
Nothing to fix since I didn't have the the delay in the first place on my iPhone 7 Plus and 2017 iPad.

pulling down for spotlight seems more responsive and smooth. iPhone 7. Previously would occasionally jerk / stutter. Keyboard lag seems like its gone, but too early to tell.

honestly, the entire os feels like a smoother & responsive. Lots of lag, stutter, and slowness is gone. Feels like what 11.0 should have been.

Unfortunately, the Calculator app is still broken!

fluidness overall seems much better, smoother keyboard performance everywhere, messages much smoother. no problems in calculator for me but i didnt have problems before and same with home button, i never noticed problems before so nothing to fix here. (7+)

Anecdotal and I'm definitely not suggesting it's worth it, but I had to "Reset All Settings" to fix an issue I was having with the app store, and that actually fixed my delay as well. No clue why.

Haha literally updated my post echoing yours, before I saw this. As for calculator, try inputting really quickly, it doesn't catch characters as quickly as you type.

Has anyone had the issue on an 8+ where you option click to do an update with the full ipsw and it throws the device into recovery mode? The only way to get it out is to do a full restore. It happened to me a couple times so I ended up just doing an OTA update and that works fine. I try doing the same thing with my 7+ and my iPad Pro 9.7 and they update just fine so it can't be my computer. It's weird.

Is home button delay fixed?
If you have home button delay, try removing tripple click shortcuts, like zoom. Turn them all off. When you enable shortcuts it usually causes a delay intentionally to give you a chance to activate the shortcut.

Unless the previous reports about kernel build time were wrong, it looks like they reverted to a kernel build from a day earlier than last time (September 29th instead of September 30th) which is interesting.

Utter rubbish! This delay never occured on iOS 10.

Guys can people confirm the IPSW option to update through iTunes in windows. That would confirm it’s the GM. Because as far as I know Apple doesn’t let windows users do that with a beta version. Isn’t it?

You can update or restore a beta IPSW through Windows. Done it plenty of times.

You can, the process to do it is just slightly different on Windows than on OS X. Different keys have to be pressed.

I am aware of that. However Apple doesn’t let you do that for beta versions of iOS on windows. If this has to be the GM then it would let windows users to do so.
