U ever get it to show up?

Removing beta profile didnt work for me

You will need to be in DFU mode (Recovery) on your device, which bypasses the iOS boot loader, and connected to a computer with iTunes for the recovery procedure. This procedure is not the same as restoring a firmware within iTunes which allows the boot loader to check and authenticate attempts to downgrade or install invalid firmware.

0. Download the IPSW file for your particular iPhone, iPad, or iPod. You should be able to find these files with a search engine. Just make sure to hash check the file. After downloading it, then copy the file into the correct iTunes directory for your Windows OS or macOS version. (This step is not necessary because once the device is connected to an internet enabled computer and recognized by iTunes in DFU mode, then the program will download the appropriate IPSW file from Apple servers.)
1. Connect your device to a computer with iTunes and allow the program to recognize the device.
2. Power off your device.
3. There are multiple methods to enable the DFU mode of different Apple iPhones, iPads, and iPods. Use a search engine to verify the procedure for your particular device.
4. Once the device has entered into DFU mode, identified by a blank screen and a message by the iTunes program, then it will begin downloading the most current general release firmware for that device. If you downloaded the IPSW file, then you should have already copied that file into the appropriate iTunes directory and it will use that file for recovery after validating it.
5. Once the recovery procedure has completed, then you will be left to setup as a new device or to restore from a backup.

Had an issue with notifications propagating to my Apple watch, after the 11.2.1 update. Tried restarting the watch, no change. Restarting the X fixed it.

Also, I'm trying to do an OTA update. Can't use iTunes anymore to update. 10.7.5 isn't compatible with iOS 10+

12.2.5

but i now think 12.2.5 beta was released AFTER 12.2.1, right?

out of order numbers confused me
It's iOS 11.2.5 beta not twelve. And that's right, 11.2.5 beta was released after. The only way you can get back to the public version is with iTunes.

Wasn't 11.2.5 Beta released last night (but released to public beta users today?), and 11.2.1 official released today, though?
That's why I was confused.
And i though they went out of order numerically for some reason.
But they didn't. 11.2.5 Beta 1 is the current version, assuming you're in the public beta program.
Somebody else asked the same ****, and someone suggested removing Beta profile and then 11.2.1 would become available under software update.
But it didn't.
So it wasn't only me that could have been confused and that's why I asked the question again to see if there was another solution besides removing public beta.
He thought i wanted to go backwards, which is why he suggested dfu mode.

11.2.1 was also released yesterday.

Both released yesterday. I left beta yesterday to get the latest version then they drop that lol

I don’t know what advantage 11.2.5 has over 11.2.1.

I don’t think anyone does at this point. It’s always best to stay on the latest version that’s officially released. I am downgrading from beta to official today.

Yeah think I’ll stay, I was on the betas from 11.0 b3 I think and can honestly say had zero major issues. Not enough to make me back track!

What happened to being able to watch videos inline? I am no longer able to make a fullscreen video close and start playing inline.

That's kind of the point of "low power" mode... to conserve battery usage at the cost of shutting off functions/slowing down processes. The intent is to "get you through" until you can charge your device...
I know about this but it's not meant to throttle the device cpu that you'll be noticing lags and slowdowns with usage , it wasn't like this on ios 10

Decrease in performance while in low power mode is very noticeable unlike on iOS10..there is more stutter/lag that sometimes iPhone misses a click while opening/closing control center or app.
Also, iOS 11 seems to be more memory hungry because apps keep reloading even with just 5-6 basic apps open (Settings, Mail, Chat, Browser... no games). This could also be a factor in noticeable stutter/lag.

anyone notice the overall cpu slowdown after enabling low power mode

It always did this, you're probably only noticing it now because iOS 11 is more resource intensive.

Still getting the issue where Safari crashes shortly after launch, after "clearing all history and website data." To be fair though, this has gone on since the early betas of 11.0. Navigating to a page or tapping the address bar usually does it.

Not getting the crashes but I am getting page freezes when you try to scroll up/down intermittently. Within a few seconds it will start working again.
This is on an IPP 12.9 G2
Have not noticed this on my 7+

Perhaps AT&T pulled that update recently and that's why it might not be offered to those who don't have it yet?

That could be as both my devices are still on 31.0.

No need for DFU-mode for going from 12.2.5 beta to 12.2.1.

Download the IPSW-file.
Deactivate "find my iphone" in settings/general/icloud/find my iphone by entering your password.
Connect your iPhone and once its visible in iTunes press SHIFT (Windows PC) + Restore (button in iTunes) and select the IPSW-file you just downloaded.

Did that yesterday.
