If you notice carefully, there is a slight bar underneath the top right area of the lockscreen. Indicating that you can swipe down from the top right icons to get to Control Center. That's definitely new.

I jumped on at 11.1 but it’s been that way for me the whole time.
It was a feature of 11 that we would be able to watch videos inline. I remember doing it. Now I can't (probably as of 11.1 as well, but I can't remember when it started).

Are you in Safari? Because that's the only place it works.

I ran into a new problem with 11.2.1 at work trying to connect to our guest wifi. I can't connect to the login page for WiFi. It finds the network service and tries to connect but it can't so it drops the WiFi connection. Normally, I just hit a website and it tries to reconnect automatically and redirects to the WiFi login page but the reconnect doesn't happen. This is with a 7+. I also tried this with a 6 and did manage to get it to work by hitting reload a bunch of times. It appears that the iPhone 6 is slow enough so that something isn't timing out.

I wish Apple would fix the battery bug where the usage time resets every time you restart the iPad. Supposedly someone had said this has been an issue since iOS 10, yikes. Another minor bug is the loss of transparency on the dock. It resets to non-transparancy each time you restart the iPad.

Not sure most are experiencing the transparency setting change is something that most are experiencing. Seems like something might be off in your case. As far as restart clearing out usage/standby information, it's hard to say if that's a bug or something basically by design.

For some reason my iPhone X, or perhaps its my iCloud/Apple Account suddenly decided to forget all about my Apple W1 devices yesterday... I have two sets of AirPods and one pair of Beats Studio3 Wireless.

When I went to bed my Apple TV 4K didn't see my home AirPods so I was forced to repair them. This morning my phone did not recognise my Beats Studio3 Wireless so I had to repair them. And when I arrived at work this morning my work AirPods wasn't recognised by my phone so I had to repair them as well...

I guess this is not related to iOS 11.2.1? But it just adds to the list of awkward bugs that keeps happening lately with my Apple devices.

Two random reboots so far... reminds me of Android.
iPhone 6S with new battery. CPU frequency at 1512 MHz when battery is at 100% o_O

Should I update to 11.2.1 on my 7 plus?

Right now I am on 11.2 and constantly getting 7-7.5 hours of usage.

Are there any improvements on battery life or performance?

For the most part there isn't much of a difference one way or another as is the case with most bugfix updates.
